A very simple and well made game! Incremental games are hard to make because it's all about the balance and the fun in restarting and going on and you managed to succeed at both! It was fun to slowly get stronger and stronger and just decimate all the enemies. My only feedback is that the start is very slow as it seems enemies get stuck on each other outside of the screen or just take very long to show up so before upgrading the enemy spawns, it can feel quite slow. Other than that, great work!

Nope - I've completed at least one game jam before.
How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about getting started extremely weak with no abilities and exponentially growing in strength throughout the game.

This was a lot of fun! The end reminded me of metroidvanias where you are overpowered and just destroy all the small enemies :). I also really liked how the enemy health worked, very intuitive. My one suggestion is to have a similar color shift for how much time you have left. Great job on this!
I think this game could be really good, but I find it has a problem/feature that slows down progress: having it so that only the materials close to you get collected. It took me 14 runs to get a second upgrade, which felt like a drag. if you made it so you get all the materials, I would give it 15/15, but in the current state, I have to give it a 10/15
Interesting ьinimalistic game that haven't nothing excess
I would appreciate it if you rated our game
this feels so good to play!! i didnt expect it to have more than 1 level, so it was even more fun
it felt great uploading the skills from the tree, really nice job!
Fun: I like the leveling idea, really fun, especially when you start to get strong, and satisfying
presentation: I really like the upgrades, and the sound design, but squares and a traingler is a bit too simple.
creativity: great idea of starting weak then upgrading, fits the theme well
Really fun! I love the loop game, but maybe more diversity for enemies might make the game more fun? As far as I played, there are only squares and bigger squares..
Super polished game! Congrats on the submission!
Really loved the SFX and music, it really sets a vibe. One small thing that happened, while shooting some enemies, I accidentally clicked on the end loop button a few times, so there might be a better way to do that interaction.
Awesome work, regardless! Had a ton of fun playing.
I think I agree with lunastela--coming back more powerful would have felt twice as good if you were just curb stomped by the more powerful enemies. But the game is brimming with juice and everything feels great to interact with.
Pretty cool and neat game, I really enjoyed it! The only thing I can say really bothered me was not being able to turn off the effect on the screen. The bloom made everything feel hazy and blurry, and I felt like I had to squint to read things.
Aside from that, my only criticism is that when you level up on prestige, it takes you out of the loop instead of challenging you with the next wave and making you get your ass handed to you. I feel like it'd feel more natural if that were the case, and I could accept it being the end of the loop if I either ran out of fuel or died, as otherwise it feels like it grinds the game to a halt.
Finally, a fellow Incremental game creator! This game is a blast!
I finished the upgrade tree and absolutely obliterated last few prestiges early on. It was a lot of fun! I wish there were more enemy types in the game to spice things up. I would have fun blasting them to smithereens. >:]
I spent way more time than I should have on this one. Completed the whole upgrade tree! Very addictive, tangible upgrades and while the art style is simple, it gets the point across and communicates the information on the screen. One of best polished games of the jam so far for me.
Well done!
