That was a very fun game! I really liked the little minigames and how they were all different from each other, I thought it was just going to be a typing game but was pleasantly surprised when each stage had a different game. The music is great and the game fits perfectly within the theme!

Very cute game. No complaints that aren't known bugs.

I love it. Perfect theme matching and really good music. And the idea of first level - so great:)

Submitted(+1)

The main reason I got attracted to this submission is because how similar the idea is to my game, things like starting with life and different minigames. it was executed better than my game, was really interesting to see a game with a similar idea to mine

Loved this! Very unique idea I think. Dont know why a baby should learn a word like surveillance but there we go. I didnt understand the last level, it was kinda random but liked and enjoyed the game overall.

Such a cute take on the theme! The minigames are a lot of fun, and I really appreciate the inclusion of a skip button, I couldn’t get past the typing game, but thanks to that, I was still able to enjoy the whole experience. The art style is vibrant and adorable, and the sound effects are quite good. Overall, I had a pleasant time with this one. Great job on your first game submission!

This is awesome, what an incredible level of polish! This is one my faves for sure!

Submitted(+1)

That's a lot of content, minigames are fun and look cool. Great game!

Developer

Thank you so much Bitey! Appreciate it!

This was VERY entertaining, Basically a bunch of mini games,

for the speak game as someone who types slow you did not make it easy at all some words were diabolical but thats a skill issue would play again though

Developer

Thank you so much!

Yeah the typing is definitely too hard! Sorry about that. I'll certainly fix that. Maybe I'll have to add some difficulty level or something.

Submitted(+1)

Well done all good mini games. I had a blast playing this. I think the last one was missing something, though.

Developer

Thank you!

Yeah the last one was missing time xD I couldn't finish it, but I thought, I already put in the work, might as well just leave it in.

i find impressive when people can make so many mini-games that work so well for a game jam, great job! i didn't find the first level difficult but even if it was the skip level button makes it very accessible, very fun game. Also the baby ate so much sugar that started having a wild dream about people swordfighting :P

Developer

Thank you so much for the compliment!

Yeah the original plan was to have even more for more stages of life, but obviously there was no time for that. Also I wanted to make a level selection screen, but since time was lacking, skip level was the easiest solution :)

Thats certainly a good explanation! :) Certainly makes more sense than suddenly being grown up

Good new game. Could use some difficulty tweaking but the games are interesting and dynamic.

Developer

Totally agree with you on the difficulty. Sorry about that!

Thank you for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

I like the format you chose, all the different minigames added some cool variety. It was a little tougher than I expected but I enjoy a good challenge. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah I made it a little too hard. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway!

Love the interpretation on the theme. You did a great job on the art.

Did perfectly on every game until the eating one where I was stuck in dead silence for like at least 5 minutes desperately trying to satisfy the demands of the merciless narrator demanding I eat more and more. ;-; I also don't think it's as strongly connected to the actions the girl is taking compared to the other minigames.  I didn't realize there was a level skip option until after I was done playing but that's very considerate!

Overall, good work!

Developer

Thank you so much for the feeback!

You did great then! Ive been told (and I've seen it myself) that the games are on the harder side. Hence why I added a skip button. Although I hoped the difficulty would be okay. Well obviously you have to eat your daily rate of 50 unhealthy foods.

Yeah I was a bit worried that the minigames are just too far off of eachother, there is just no mechanic connecting them, but well. I'm happy with it so far.

I thought the typing game and the dodging game made perfect sense with the development stages they represented. I didn't find the typing one hard at all but I probably got lucky with words. It did make me laugh when "Pharaoh" popped up as one of baby's first words. You absolutely should be happy with what you made!

Developer

If Pharoah was the worst, you did dodge some harder ones for sure! But the words also get harder with time, if you manage to type them all at the start, you should be somewhat fine! But I guess you also just type fast!

Thank you!

Good ideas, well executed. Well done.

Developer

Thank you very much!

Very fun game. Love the background music, gives the game such a happy feeling.

I think the WASD keys for the eating level are bugged since they didn't work. The arrows did work, so you can complete the level.

And the first level was difficult for sure. Thought I could type fast, but I had to do my best to complete the level

Developer(+1)

Sadly I didn't make the music myself, but I do like it very much aswell! Thank you

Yeah not sure what went wrong there but atleast the Arrow keys work, so thats something.

Yeah most people mentioned its too fast. Thats my first fix for sure!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I appreciate it!

Cute little game - always ambitious to submit a game of minigames, and succeeding with that on your first jam is very impressive!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, that's a huge compliment. Thank you so much for taking your time!

Submitted(+1)

The only thing I’d point out is the difficulty curve, but the level-skip option takes care of that. Loved the presentation and the concept. Really fun!

Developer

Yeah the playtesting fell kind of short, so that's what I get for that xD

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Really enjoyed, the varied gameplay is good. Who knew all I needed to do in life was speak, walk, eat and fight everyone with a stick :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, clearly, the four pillars of life ;)

Submitted(+1)

This is super fun, someone should clean up the house before letting a kid learn to walk. Also resetting that level seems to increase the speed, very hard.  For the eating level WASD seems to be broken?  But yea, super nice and complete game! <3 well done!

Developer(+1)

The problem is, it doesn't reset the speed. The speed increases over time, but when restarting it doesnt reset. So I'll have to fix that.

Yeah WASD doesn't work for some reason, I'll have to look into that.

Thank you for the nice feedback!
