Isometric game!! i loved the sound effects also loved the blood particles loved the game art was really nice great job although i have some suggestions for you first is making the player press the LMB to actually shoot not shoot manually with a timer second make a reload system and a random bullet spawner system that would add so much more to the game also adding some medkits spawner will be nice too and a death gui that pops up when you get killed, overall great job, also if you dont mind you can play my game im sure you will like it.
This game definitely has potential. It reminded me a bit of one of those .io games, but with pixel art instead of the more SVG-type of style.
thanks! i realized it kinda felt like a survivor.io type thing and i embraced it!
enemies used wallhacks against me vanguard do something plus how are they headshotting me with a sheriff on round 2 with full shields from across the map i only have a classic and i won the last round so why am i still saving i aint doing classic only to immortal and no teammates reminds me of iron i rate it i play too much valorant/10
riot anticheat cant save you now
I like isometric games, and this was an interesting one, although after a while I felt like my gun didn't have enough range. Maybe some risky-to-get upgrades would be fun.
thanks! i implemented upgrades but didnt have time to make a good way for them to be obtainable
Awesome!! You improved the game more from when I last saw it, I didn't make it past the chain saw lol but the maze was good for strategy when there were a ton of enemies
i was going to ask about the gun shooting being synchronized with the music but it was already answered in another comment, even tho it was unintentional the beat caused by the auto shooting was really nice. It would be nice if later on the rate of the shootings changed but so did the bpm of the music i think it would be pretty neat
Nice game!! I really like the isometric pixel art look, not a big fan of the auto shooting though, would've been cool if it was on a button. But overall, it's a pretty fun game!
fun game and thanks for the music
youre welcome man! you did good things with it!
This is really fun! Was music and gun sound synchronising intentional by the way? That sounds really cool
the gunsync was unintentional at first, but i kept it in because i liked it :D
Alright, I went back and played it some more, got to the chainsaw boss this time. They did kick my ass though. (Loved the chainsaw sound effect lmao) In general I really like what you did here! Through its simplicity, it's oddly satisfying to play and just mow through the waves, even though it might not be as chaotic/filled with enemies as other action roguelikes it might be inspired by! (Maybe that's just my sleep deprivation from the Game-Jam-Allnighter speaking, I was able to tune out perfectly while still getting the waves done haha - well for a bit at least) The music was super fitting as well. Nice work with the bosses. Only tips from me would be to maybe visually distinguish enemy projectiles from your own some more and the afforementioned controls being a bit too slow - friction and playtesting by multiple people can help out with such a thing massively. Great job on your first game jam, really nicely done.
Very nice looking isometric art! Love the simplicity of it, feels, looks and sounds good. Although the controls are a tiny bit too slippery/sluggish for my taste, more friction on the movement controller can make it smoother/more responsive to play!
thank you earthbound guy
