Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is planned to be a rougelike that restarts at the end of each week. So, you get "started" multiple times. Also, it took a while for everyone on the team to get to work. We had to just get started about halfway into the jam.

Really cute game! I love the aesthetic, and each scene had a very nice charm to it! I would love a little more feedback when reeling in fish, as well as understanding what the bar on the left means (I think it's fuel?? I have no clue lol), and maybe have a description of what fuel does. Overall, a fun game that's very charming :D

My friend rainfour (who made the sounds for my game) absolutely loves fishing games, so I had to check it out. Love the simple artstyle, and the animation when you catch something is really cool, but as others said a bar or something would be nice to know if your reeling is working. Good work!

Very calming and relaxing experience, I definitely agree with Hekuta, it would be nice to have some sort of feedback on the clicks. You have a bug I would describe as auto-fishing, where after the first catch it seems the number of times you clicked doesn't reset, so the fish afterwards can be caught without pressing a single button. The art, music and sound effects work great together in a fantastic way, great job getting your first jam game done, hats off to the team.

Ah fishing~ Love the menus and transitions! I would like more of an indication that my reeling is working, but its all good when I caught Mike!
