I like the concept and the idea, it is really fun to build your own army of monsters that protect you. Enemies though get a little scared to go to objective, especially wizards, they are prone to chilling at the edge of the screen, but balancing is a tough thing to figure out in such short time. Overall I like the gameplay loop, it has great potential, some polish and balancing and it will become a very solid game. Nice job!

Thank you, pathfinding really needs polishing, but it’s my first time working with path finding so I did what I could lol

Nice game with a good diversity of enemies and tools. The enemy AI could be a little tighter, there were long stretches where the "heroes" were faffing about in the wings and not coming near where I can actually reach them.

Really novel concept! I liked the diversity in monsters and traps, though the heroes never felt like they were much of a threat with the exception of the rogues. I think it would be more exciting if the rest sought the Demon Lord more actively. Great work nonetheless!

I’m glad you enjoyed it. Honestly I really struggled with balancing lol. If I made everything pursue the demon lord, the start of the game became incredibly difficult I found, which I could have balanced with more starting money and max stuff, but then it felt too easy

Tower Defenses are notoriously hard to balance haha. The concept itself still shines through and it is a very strong one.

Really cool idea! I liked all the different classes and attacks. Maybe add music after the jam?

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

thank you. I did plan on music, but  I have the musical talent of a fish lmao. Also I was listening to music the entire time I was developing it, so I completely forgot the game itself didn’t actually have any

Awesome! Love the idea of a more active tower defense game. Getting out of the chair and fighting the heroes yourself is a great thought!

Developer

thank you. I really wanted to make more attacks, but I could never work out what those would be annoyingly. Also felt like it would distract too much from the tower defence gameplay lol. Glad you liked my game
