Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
It's a mini-game where you're trying to start your bigger adventure by getting your first gear!

The music is pretty good, despite the fact I got fell in a mirror dimension by going through a loading zone diagonally.

Its like in Zelda when I hit up the same house lol

The game is nice, I found all the chest, then glitched outside of the map and couldn't get back in. lol it's alright though, I had fun.

Good job on your first jam, walking around to gather gold to buy your gear is a good concept and I really liked the prospect of getting to steal all 100 gold rather than finding the chests, a nice touch for sure. Looking forward to if the adventure continues, good luck!

Cute little game!
The volume slider adds volume instead of adjusting it to the slider value
Keep going!

Thanks for letting me know! I didn't realize that. I'll try to fix it at some point!

Cute! Really delivers on the jam theme 100%. I would have loved an end game moment (eg after getting your sword a town exit unlocks and you enter the cave or forest (then the game ends)). Could see a whole game getting made out of this concept!

I agree that an endgame moment would definitely be nice. I wasn't able to figure out how to do that before the end of the jam, but if I ever continue this (which I might), I'll definitely do that! Thanks for the feedback!
