Yes - I'm new to game jams!
How does your game fit the theme?
You are trying to just get started on making your dream game, but this annoying goblin thing - ADHD - keeps distracting you. You have to defeat said goblin, and then in later updates (we will continue with this game whether we win or not) you will fight the distractions of you phone.

Sound effects of attacks being started and hitting a target would also help as cues of a player and enemy's effectiveness. Good stuff!
The movement felt pretty polished, it was a bit confusing having the health/mana pickups also be goblins, and I think I broke the boss after dying to it since it either wouldn't move and wouldn't deal damage, the game state might not be resetting properly
I've not heard of the boss breaker yet... would you be able to send screenshots, or explain further?
Sure, I'll try to do it tomorrow and send it via discord
Could use some cleanup but could be a full game easier. The dash needs to animate not teleport, and the attack could use a bit more reach and have some indication it hit other than the boss health bar going down. A knockback or other indication the player or the boss took damage would be helpful.
Thanks for this great feedback. Will implement after the jam ends.
Implemented most of this. You can see it if you play now! :D
Very nice and polished and complete game. Even an almost completely working settings menu. Very impressed!
Nice, polished gameplay - very impressive!
nice submission! theres quite a lot of gameplay which is very impressive. excited to see how it develops in future updates. also cool interpretation of the theme.
Thanks! We originally planned on adding two more levels but we didn't have enough time and settled for only the first one
