Yes - I'm new to game jams!

How does your game fit the theme?
My game is based around a robot looking for a new life and starting their new chapter.

The tutorial and puzzles purposefully misdirect you so you "get started" on your own.

I learned a lot of new things (UI, layouts, state machines, tilemaps) in godot during the jam and I put them to use.

Great presentation, very polished. The level design could use some work, but the focus on wall jumping is fun. You have all the parts of a precision platformer.

This game was really good. I liked the style, the presentation, I had fun explorigthe map and the boss was fun. The only problem i really had was that i had to wait to long for the platforms/the platform were not indicated and i feel like you had to get lucky to see them, but still i had a lot of fun!

Love me some puzzle games. The intro custscene and minigame was really cool as well; really sets the mood for the game. Pixel art was nice, clear and  readable but it would be nice to have the platforms stop a bit after they reach their stop. Had difficulties timing my jumps. But as a fellow beginner godot user who also just started a few weeks ago, the level of polish for this is great! Congrats on your first jam entry!

Little robots my beloved. The false tutorials were real interesting, and the little tips were real helpful as well! This game was real fun , with real good artwork. The manual was real fun to read. Real.

This is a pretty interesting game. I really like how the tutorial is broken on purpose. the wall breaking though could have been a bit more telegraphed in my opinion, but i did figure it out, so im not sure.

The intro minigame was fun, but could be helped more with some button click sfx. After that, I wasn’t able to cross the first level since jumping was not working for me, and too much text-work at the start.

Dude I enjoyed the  minigame way too much haha. As for the real game it seemed like it could be interesting but unfortunately I could not jump so I couldn't make it past the first level. For me W space S up and down key were not working so idk. Could be something on my end but :shrug,

Took me a bit to realize I could stick to walls. That wasn't really introduced before I needed it? Or did I miss it?

Yeah, the game is a little misleading on purpose to try and fit the “just get started” theme but taking things into your own hands. It is a little clunky.

I think it could have still been introduced a little better. I added in a “hint” system that shows a hint after 45 seconds or so, but maybe it should show sooner. Added some info to the page so it doesn’t confuse people.
