How does your game incorporate the theme?
The sun powers the calculator but also scoring uses a "power of" system where tiles use the diagonal right-up tile as an exponent.

What bonus challenges did you complete?

Mouse only

Did you use any sort of AI during the development of your submission?

No

This is pretty satisfying. I think it might be more of a challenge if the amount that you move the sun up with each set of matching tiles was a smaller distance on the screen. I feel like I'm able to keep the sun up and not really worry about getting very big exponents. Overall, this is a really neat concept, would love to see it expanded on.

Very cool game and you did it about math... which I thought I would hate, but was very cool! Well done!

The sound effects when clearing numbers makes this really satisfying!

I keep accidentally moving the numbers past where they needed to be for the matches to score which makes the late game pretty difficult.  And one time the combo somehow made the sun move faster and instantly game over - not sure what happened there haha

Some of the other comments explained the exponential scoring mechanic to me, and I'm not sure if I played better before or after I knew how that worked lol

I've always enjoyed match 3 games, so this was fun to play around with for sure :)

Found your comment in the game Match^3 page, turns out there are many people using the math power definition!(Though so far all of the games I saw did a better mechanic than me). The mechanic itself was really interesting and satisfying, and the sound effects added a really nice addition.

The gameplay was great, but when the game reached the later stages I can't really focus on the calculation part and setting combos up(I might just be bad at playing). Maybe a mode to reach the highest combo could be interesting aswell!(The sun goes down slower but also rises up slower).

Great job!

I'm glad that someone thought just like me! I just made only a prototype in two days, but you did better... wow ;)
