How does your game fit the theme?
Before you are able enter combat, you need to start up your mech from inside the pilot seat. In game, the player is resurrected to fight again. So even if start and fail, you get back up to try again. Which is honestly how game dev feels sometimes.

The gameplay and story may be short, but the presentation is great! If you ever decide to make this a full game, it'd be cool if messing around the cockpit affected your attacks or stats on the map. As a fan of SRPGs, I loved it!
Thank you for commenting and playing! Thats actually a really interesting idea, something like an in universe load-out system? Maybe have it be like “allocating power” to specific systems. I’ll definitely keep it noted for when I reuse/expand the gameplay systems.
Liked the concept of the game, would definitely play more of it!
Hope you will add more enemies and abilities in the future)
Thank you for the comment and playing my submission! I definitely plan on reusing and expanding the gameplay system made for this in a future project. But honestly, right now I’m thinking of making some more micro game/proof of concept prototypes. Both to improve my development skills and because I had fun making this.
I quite like the opening there, interacting with the actual cockpit buttons as your reanimation is being explained even down to having to be taught to due so being the result of said process was a nice little narrative touch as well. It feels like a good start to something fun and interesting and I quite enjoyed it. :)
Thank you for commenting and playing my submission! I’m glad you enjoyed the interactive start up bit, I was a little worried it would come off a like text dumpy.
Gameplay is brief, but is a nice proof-of-concept. Starting cutscene is fun, and has some nice interactive sections. Overall, a good start for something bigger.
Thank you for commenting! Ya, its more of a proof of concept than anything. The grid gameplay is something I wanted to prototype for a bit now. So I decided to use the my Jam submission the starting point. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
