You created a good game-play loop. I how if a hit just grazes you it doesn't knock you back that far. I could probably use this idea elsewhere.

Overall, a very fun arcade-y atmospheric asteroid adventure! That music does so much to really make it feel intense and get you on the edge of your seat while you play! I also didn't run into any real bugs or glitches! Only feedback I'd give is to request some sort of controls/how to play popup somewhere either on the menu or in game and maybe a high score feature that shows your current and best run when you die. No real complaints though, took a second to figure out that it was arrow keys based and not WASD but once I did it was a lot of fun! (p.s. nice animations! :D)

Very simple game play loop, but I like the atmosphere with the visuals and music. Feels like a real desperate escape.
