Nope - I've completed at least one game jam before.

How does your game fit the theme?
We waffled on a few interpretations of the theme, but one way or another we landed on a "pinball" style game. Once that idea had latched on, we worked with it for a bit until something clicked and we thought "Just Get Started" is similar to "Get Rolling". So that evolved into a slew of phrases like "Time to get rolling" or "Let's get rolling" and other variations. Naturally that all tied in with the pinball concept so we "locked it in" and kept moving.

As it tends to go, we had a handful of other pieces of the game that simply didn't make it into the "final" submitted version of the game. Many of those would have (hopefully) helped with the theme tie-in, but it didn't get to exist in this timeline! Instead you'll just have to keep rolling :)

Very interesting mechanics at play here! It's very cool to have the spy break out of the ball and move on it's own when you're out of gas (Or touch one of those walls), very creative! It's a shame the code revealing isnt working, I tried clicking the lock since I saw it mentioned on another comment but it kept displaying * despite 100%ing the levels :< If you can post the codes in the comments or somewhere I'd love to play the final level, but regardless, very fun experience! :>

Aw dang, sorry about the codes! Maybe after the judging and such is done I can see about uploading another version to fix the code cracking. Amazing what simple and obvious things we can miss sometimes 😅

Glad you liked it otherwise! Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing!

Loved seeing the lil guy roll around in there. Is he suffering, or enjoying it, or simply doing his job? Unfortunately I was unable to have any parts of the code revealed, even after gathering all the pickups. Perhaps, I misunderstood how it was supposed to work? Either way, nice job! That mysterious music really tied the theme together!

It's his magic power! Or something like that! LOL

Sorry the code revealing didn't work, I hadn't experienced that in my testing but could've easily missed something. To see the code you have to click the "lock" symbol on the right in the "MISSIONS" view. Didn't quite have enough time to improve the UX there so it may also just be unnecessarily hidden 😅

I can see this central mechanic doing really well on the mobile games market

Oh that's a good idea actually. A little touch-to-aim system and a single on-screen button would probably be enough to make it work.

Thanks for playing!
