How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme"Just Getting Started" by making you play as a supersoldier that is he dies he gets replaced by another, so each run is a new supersoldier trial, always getting started again, the point is that narratively there's a search for the perfect one to clone and use in war.
Also gameplay wise, you start pretty weak and must collect power-ups to grow stronger

Really fun power-up game. I wish the parry was a bit easier to use, it never really felt practical to use. Sound effects were nice and all the power-ups felt useful and seeing the really big numbers towards the end was awesome. Great job on your first jam, you should be proud!

really like the sprites and parry mechanic! its cute that you pick up the tutorial as powers :)
(first time running i got an error, i think because i was skipping text with my mouse, its pretty easy to reproduce)
Yeah it has more than a problem for sure, the text skip would be an easy fix I just totally forgot that I even added it at all and didn't test it properly, thanks a lot for playing it :)
