Hectic in a fun way! It might be a skill issue on my end, but sometimes feels like the cars don't stop when I click them?

Otherwise, good game, very arcadey

Developer(+1)

I think it has to do with an issue another commentor said that areas and collisonboxes sometimes get harder to click on faster objects. Will look into it, thanks for playing

what an enjoyable (and difficult!) small game. looks perfect for touch interfaces, very challenging with the mouse. chuckled at the cars going in reverse, the sound of the honks and the glitch of the restart button going down at every replay (was looking forward to see how low it could go!)
nice entry!

i noticed that ui button issue after submitting, will fix that after vacationtime xD thanks for playing

This was definitely a fun game. Music in the main menu hits HARD. Sound design is simple but just works.

It spikes so much in difficulty in level 2 btw.

Great entry!

Really fun game! I like the visuals, but I think a few of the cars that go from the bottom of the screen to the top look like they're driving backwards. That's just a minor detail though, it's still a very solid game.

Developer

They do drive backwards,  its a bug, but one I did leave in on purpose because I did think it was kind of funny and fitted the chaos of the setting. Thanks for playing!!

Fun little game. It escelates quite quickly, which I didn't mind. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! ^_^

Simple but with interesting strategy. The Easy level could have less of a delay between cars and the hitbox to click on the car could be more generous. Once they started to get going it was easy for it not to register right. I had the same problem in my game with fast moving statibody2ds. A good start that could easily be refined into a fun mobile game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wanted to ease players into it in level 1. I agree the delay can be hefty. The clickable area's are actually Area2D's instead of the bodies. I could resize them quite easily I think (currently they just extend to the sprite size upon spawn)

Simple yet addictive! Game can get even fun if the different vehicle types have their own properties. For example trucks have high inertia so it would take longer to brake into a stop, or ambulance having top priority so it cant be stopped. The potential is limitless! Neat little game overall!

Developer

I would love to do something with vehicles types, definitely, currently  they are just random sprites that stretch their clickable area and hitbox to the sprite size. But all those ideas sound super fun! Thanks for playing!

The variety of cars makes it interesting, although it ending with one crash makes it be either perfect or bust,  having so that if there is a crash on X or Y spot cars could go around and if you block a whole street its game over could make it more forgiving while also giving you more things to manage as a punishment

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and I definitely agree with you! Thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed the concept of this, the only one like it in the jam (that I've seen). The art looks great, the sound effects are spot on, and it's really easy to pick up and get addicted to!

Thank you for the kind words, thanks for playing! <3
