How does your game fit the theme?
The start button is non-functional in the beginning, and the game visuals and sound are either missing or off. Much like a beginner's first project, the player must start debugging the game in order to see the complete product. As they play through the debugging stages, the visuals and music will start to improve. But these improvements will only show if the player gets started with debugging.

Great idea for the theme of the jam.
I liked the game overall!
I was a bit surprised by the speed of the space ship, I immediatly crashed into the first thing, when I was in the "trying the control scheme"-phase. But thats just a small balancing/personal preference thing, no issue at all.

Thanks for playing! I actually finished development about 1 hour before the deadline. The rest of it was spent trying to figure out how to upload to itch.
Nice take on the theme. I would of loved to be able to rotate with a and d instead of instantly going that direction. It would give me more precision to my shots. Other than that, the game wasn't bad. Well done.

Thanks for playing! I think the hardest part of developing was staying motivated after getting stuck on a game breaking error. Honestly I'm surprised that I managed to finish in time!
The game is cool, I think it could be even greater with some effects, like screen shake.
Also if we could have items that can upgrade the player like shout multiple bullet, those are just suggestions that I think are cool.
