End life plan
It's just a JS file using CC 4.0 music. There are no dependencies except for WebGL, which is built into every web browser as a way to use shaders in HTML5. Even that could be removed. It would only disable post-processing effects. There are no libraries or external dependencies; it's entirely self-contained in a single JS file. So, there shouldn't be anything that can't be preserved by the Internet Archive.
Transparency note
This was created in 1 week during the timeframe of the SKG game jam. AI was used to help write some of the code. AI does a bad job writing code. I wish I knew more so I didn't have to use it. It's so bad. The solutions that it provides, are garbage and lack context. Learn to code, don't rely on AI.

Really really love this! Very challenging and rewarding, love the choice of music as well as the fact that the level is synced to it. The graphics are simple but it works perfectly, makes the danmaku easy to read. I love the bullet patterns by the way! It's not just aimed, but you've actually got nice flower patterns and stuff. Very nice.
If I had to complain about something it'd just be the fact that you instantly die and start over at the beginning of the stage. This is not a game design problem actually, just a skill issue on my part. I'll for sure come back and try to beat this, as it stands right now I died to the big boss on March 30th.
Thank you for noticing some of the details. I spent most of the time thinking of patterns and timing it to the music BPM. But there are also the little things like blending in friendly shots and friendly ships into the background color so everything could be read easier.
It is not an easy game at all. It also took me several tries to beat the March 30th version. The July 31st version is way harder (no AI teammates) and I didn't try to attempt it more than a couple of times, but made sure it was possible in a dev debug mode if you are good at dodging. That's for the hardcore SHMUP players. But I agree it could be more forgiving and have lives or health.
Thank you for the review!
Very interesting concept! I didn’t really enjoy having to change my system clock but it for sure fits the SKG idea.
I think it works better in thought than in practice. I'm sure a input popup asking for the current date would have worked just as well. But, lessons learned.
Thank you for feedback. (I think yours is my fav so far)
Nice use of theme for the messages and the gameplay is quite chaotic, too bad I'm not good at bullet hell alike game. Good job!
Neat!
The only complaint I have is that the message says, "It is not like you can set your system clock to March 30, 2025", but you actually need to set it to 2024 - this was a bit misleading and led me to second-guessing stuff.
But otherwise, it's a neat idea, and the shmup part is also pretty good, with interesting and varied patterns, pretty challenging too.
I think this is a bug and it works for any year because it only checks the day and month. But I agree, It adds a layer of frustration.
I really love the way this looks and feels!
This is a very cool game. I think you took the theme of the jam to it's most extreme length and it worked out well. It was a bit hard to get going but besides that, I enjoyed the experience. Great job! Also, if you have some time, I'd love to know what you think of my game!
good game
Nice message about game preservation, but the game itself is just average
Thank you. The message was the most important part.
If I comment right now will it say 4 months ago? edit: no
