Artistic Statement / Use of Theme
Chaos Cruiser prepares players for escaping wildfires through a multiplayer experience designed to educate a diverse range of players.

Development Summary
We followed the Sprint schedule fairly closely and divided the work between leads for every discipline—there were seven of us on the team. We almost dropped the idea of using AirConsole in Sprint 2 because it was our first time using it, and we were encountering a series of issues with trying to implement it. We also initially had the idea of putting players in groups of 2, which we eventually cut due to design limitations from AirConsole.

Release Plan
Released. The team plans to iterate specifically on the obstacles for the game

I love the concept, and I think this project fits perfectly within the theme of Natural and unNatural Disasters! The multiplayer experience seems well-thought-out, and the game seems both educational and fun to play. I recall seeing a video showcasing the driving mechanics when the game was submitted in sprint 3, and that was looking promising. Looking forward to the single player demo so that I can give it a try!

Edit: I just realized that the gameplay video is still downloadable so I rewatched it! The environment is looking really nice. I'd love to see a bit more on the instructions/directions each player gets, to get a better idea of how the player is being educated.

This is a very cool concept and from what I can see, looks pretty cool! I wish I could play it! A single player demo/trial version would be very useful so I could rate how the mechanics feel and see the world for myself, but still what I've seen has looked promising. I hope you can make the game more accessible in the future or allow people to self-host in some capacity. Still, good work and I wish you guys all the best going forward!

Thanks for your comment! We are working on a single player demo that can be played on the itch page, hope to have it available soon! We also have submitted for review with AirConsole and once it is live on there we will have the link to play it where folks can host their own sessions :)
