End life plan
The game will stay downloadable, and the source code will remain on my Github, reachable from the itch.io-page.

Transparency note
All assets were made during the jam, except for the "Level Up" sound, which is a stock sound that I believe was used in Theme Park World/Sim Theme Park. Of course, it's most known for being the infamous "bwoink" or Admin PM sound from Space Station 13.

Honestly, a work of art. A true masterpiece in the modern age. Should be put in a gaming museum. I am giving all 5 stars and would give 6 if possible.

Developer

Thank you so much! The sixth star is behind a paywall, you just gotta donate 50 bucks to itch for a pro account. It'll be worth it, itch will never go down or die

Just a teeny tiny bit loud at the end there, but I believe I picked up on the subtle themes that you were hinting at.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad to hear that the art of reading between the lines isn't a lost one

Yeah, that was fun and all, but I couldn't finish the game, the servers shut down when things were starting to get interesting, right as I met another player!
Wish the dev held servers up just a little longer.

no kill game :(

Simple 2D action platformer RPG. Is that right?

Anyway, good work! Controls are fine but I find you cannot die, least I haven't tried to purposefully.

The ending, lol~

Developer(+1)

Oh yeah you definitely cannot die, thanks for playing!

The game idea itself is really good! However, when I climb up the ladder I can still do the walking animation. Also, when I am standing on the ground...I am not really standing on the ground. There is a little gap between the ground and the player...maybe the collider of the player is too big. When I am standing in an enemy, I dont get damaged. But, cool sounds, style and idea! It was fun to play! Thank you! :)

Developer(+1)

Ooo I never noticed that part about standing in the enemies. I wonder why that happens, everything else I know exactly. Thank you for playing!

"This looks cool!" - I thought.

"Oh who is this guy?" - I thought.

"WAIT WHAT" - I screamed.

Developer(+1)

Hahahaha I'm glad to have gotten the intended reaction

Oh, what the heck, what a surprise ending! Nicely done!

Submitted(+1)

Clever ending! I was so shocked by the other guy. My chat always jokes how my next game should be an MMO RPG, so I was wide eyed when I first read the description! Good job:)

Nice jumpscare at the end, this was nicely put together.

Background music fits the style of the game perfectly :D. Good choice!

Great job! I was starting to get into it when the ending hit haha

Carries across the jam’s theme superbly. Congrats!
