Art is good. Gives me old alaadeen vibes.

- Your GDD describes the game accurately, but I would have liked to see more from it such as your interpretation of the theme, your sources of inspiration and development process. As for the game itself, the art looks incredibly pretty, and impressively consistent. It gives off a super polished look and feel to the game, and the music / sound design compliments it as well. I like that once you swing your sword you have to commit, no animation cancelling. I feel like the difficulty per wave goes up a bit too fast, wave 1 felt like a good starting point but on wave 2 I already started getting overwhelmed by swarms of enemies from both directions. I'd personally recommend adding something like a dash to the movement set, that could also help. I also don't see an indicator for your or the child's health which makes for uninformed gameplay. Other than that, this game is extremely fun, looks extremely good and I hope you expand on it after the jam, it holds a lot of potential!
