Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • The GDD is very well put together, I don't really have much feedback to give, great job on it! You do reference a "Bought Assetpack" but do not seem to credit it anywhere? The game loop is very compelling and well put together, and so art the art and sound assets. All that being said, I fail to really see a tie to the jam Theme, as while I understand the "One more click" idea, it really wasn't apparent until I checked the GDD. For future jams, you might want to ensure the Theme really shines through. Overall this is a great clicker game with no real issue encountered and I could see myself coming back to it!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarize your game!
In this game you start out with just one red ore. Quickly new ores will spawn that you can collect. Unlock constantly new features on the unlock page.

Make some ingots, sell them on the market. Buy vegetables or animals for your farm and unlock recipes. Finish the devils requests to progress through the game!

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
Through the unlockables you get the itch to unlock just one more of these. One more click, one more recipe and I'lll be able to unlock that one unlockable that makes autocklicking faster. One more click and I spawn more resources.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Enjoy it and have fun. Id love to get feedback! This game is for the clicker enjoyers!

i completed the game, Its quite addcitive tho, i like it that there's more than just CLicking. For me i think making the Part on Mining The Ores more Slowly and be introduced one by one, Make it more Satisfying to destroy, click, and tranfer Ore to the Inventory. I wish it has better Sound effect, one That More satisfying, Like when clicking the Ore the should would be a Rock Hitting Each other, then when it destroyed, the Sound of a bunch Rock that Falling together that sound Satisfying. It just my opinion Since Clicker game tend to have a Super Juicy Feel. Anyhow This game is fun and quite addicting, Havent seen anybuy, maybe add some notificaation when the Devil Deal Are done. tell the player that they can Scroll the Crafting list Through the Arrow Key InGame. Keep up the good work!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes I agree the pacing is a little bit off, I wanted the player to rather finish the game faster, than dropping it midway. In the next update I want to adjust the pacing and also add most of the feedback players gave me into the game. SFX is one of the biggest weaknesses in the game. Hopefully getting some better SFX on the next update. Thank you for your feedback!

Gotta love a game where you just click and click and then you look up and its been 30 minutes

Developer

Thats one of the best ratings, an incremental game can get <3

The name is ballsy, but it worked very well.

Developer

so you had the itch to do one more click? :D

Submitted(+1)

yes, i got it XD but the game wouldn't work (like if the game was boring), the title would not work.
So you're also saying that the game is good enough to itch you to make one more click,
it's ballsy, but yes it work, congrats !

I enjoy myself some clickers and you've got a great one here honestly. Kept going until the end because it all felt satisfying to me! I would have liked if the menu buttons at the bottom were a little bigger though.
Great work

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I plan to introduce these size changes to the option menu in the next update.

the hitboxes of the ores  feel a bit off but otherwise fun

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I guess I was blind during development hahaha I left in the rectangle check to show the hp bar but used the actual collision box of the sprite for the click event. Will fix it in the next update.

It was addictive enough for me to complete it) It looks cool as well.

I completely ignored the devil, though.

Developer

Yeeep I decided to give the player some alternatives in completing it... was a last day change. Played through it so many times and adjusted the needed items multiple times. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

That was surprisingly fun, the SFX and the UI and the clicking, it was all so smooth and very nice to just keep playing, one comment though, is that i wish the collisions of the ore was a bit more forgiving, when i try to go fast and click on them, I'd think i clicked on the ore, however i'd just miss it by like 1 pixel. Other than that, it's a great game!

Thank you for the feedback. Yes I will consider this for an update! Makes sense to have a slightly bigger collision box.

This was a fun one! I had a weird bug (but it's not game-breaking) where I was in fullscreen and alt+tabbed away. When I came back, the screen was grayed out - I had to leave fullscreen, hit "Resume" (pops up when you're unfocused), and then I could go back to fullscreen.

I liked the mechanics, though! And it was cute, to boot. :)

Developer

Thanks for letting me know and happy you had fun :) Yes, so it seems to be the GX Platform under the hood which I compiled it to... Maybe next time Ill take the basic HTML5 target.
