- Gameplay What a lovely game! I had a blast playing it. I love Snood and to see you make your own version of it that fits with the gamejam theme is really cool to me. The game is random and sometimes it can get frustrating. I don't know how you choose what color ball you have. But maybe it could be improved so you hold the same colored ball as is the most represented on the field. Maybe you could also add some time constraints and let the player choose what color ball they want to have? GDD GDD has everything that one should. I would love to see some plans for the future and/or abandoned ideas. Art The art looks good to me. It is simplistic, but not crude. Sound design Love how innovative you were to get the sound effects. They fit the vibe of the game well. Overall, I think you have done an amazing job. And congratulations to your daughter. I hope you both had a great time designing and making this game. Hope to see you in the next jam.

Summarize your game!
One Shot is a fast-paced, arcade-style tile-matching game. Inspired by the classic game Snood, the player uses a mouse-controlled cannon to fire a single ball per round, aiming to pop groups of matching targets. The twist: you only get one shot to reach the score goal each turn.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
You only have one shot to reach the score goal.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The project lead was my 8 year old daughter.

Love these kinds of games! Only one shot would be way more satisfying if there were puzzle like levels where you can always reach the target score. Well done!
Well I got to the level where the target score is 550. It took probably 10 attempts to get there due to no fault of my own because they game generates impossible layouts where there are not enough chains of the color you get. And also there is no system where the balls collide after theres a gap or anything so that reduces the chance of the level being possible even more. But if you can fix that main issue it would be decent.
