[Godot] [Beginner] [2D] A person with no experience is looking for a team of professionals/beginners to gain experience!

Hello everyone!

Actually, I don't know why I'm writing this questionnaire, haha, but apparently I'm a fan of looking for adventures on my own.

Ahem, I would like to describe in detail who I am, what I can and cannot provide, and what I am interested in (in fact, in any genre of games, but okay).

1. My name is Milan (all of a sudden, lol), I'm almost 17 years old and I'm a sick person who thought about creating his own (and not only) games. I would really like to find an experienced team at the initial stage of development and join them in order to gain valuable experience. I don't mind a team of beginners either, because for me it's a lot of fun to learn new things and learn together!

I will also inform you at this point that I previously assembled a team about a year ago. It was quite difficult, I worked on it for about a month and a half, and eventually, due to problems with lack of time and other difficulties in the form of financing (and there was none), the team broke up.

Well, since I mentioned it, money is not important to me, which is pretty obvious, lol.

2. What I can provide and what I can't.

What can I do:

I can communicate with all people without any problems (I will try).

Learn quickly (if necessary)

What I have a problem with:

With English (sometimes it's not very good for me)

Sometimes I don't understand people the first time.

It is required to explain something several times (most often no more than 2 times, haha)

3. Genres of games.

I don't have any special preferences, my only condition is 2D. I don't really want to play 3D games yet, because it's very difficult for me. Don't blame me if I refuse to learn the genre, maybe I just consider myself not very successful in it.

That's it! I am grateful for reading, I hope I will find someone. You can write in the comments under this post or in my personal Discord - the_demon_of_nothiness

Have a nice day, everyone!

Hi, if this is the aim you have, I suggest first to check for the game jams here on itch.io. Pick one jam that inspires you and assemble a team on the related community area. The scope will be smaller and you have more chance to complete a game while improving your skills. If you are happy with the team members and they enjoy too to work together. Aim for another jam or polish the game you have just made during the jam.

Keeping the scope of the game very small is the best thing to start learning making games.

Good luck and don't give up at the first issue! :-)
