How does your game fit the theme?
Two concepts of "Loop" were used. First, the player needs to go on a looped path from the button to the charge station, then back to the button. Second, the player must follow a sequence of steps that continuously loops.

Very cool concept! It steps up the difficulty nicely and each puzzle feels doable, but requires some thinking. Great work!

Thank you.

Glad you stopped by. :)

Nice puzzle game! I discovered it because my game is also about stepping haha. The use of tiles and you determining the order of tiles near the end is clever, and I enjoyed!

Thank you.

or should I say... stepped by

Developer(+1)

You know it. XD

Awesome puzzle game with a very creative mechanic! I played it to the end, and the level design is great - it teaches you the mechanics very clearly just through visuals. Great job!

Thank you.

This is a very very nice puzzle game and a great take on the theme! It had me scratching my head on almost every level. The extra mechanics are really creative and are very well introduced with a dedicated level. The level design is top tier.

Amazing job. Congratulations!!

Developer

Thank you.

Your puzzle game was a great interpretation of the theme too. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Glad you stopped by. :)

This was super cool! I loved how you kept iterating on the idea more and more as the game went on. Level 12 was a favorite of mine as figuring that one out felt amazing! This is a really fun take on a puzzle game and I enjoyed my time with it. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

An interesting concept. Made the mistake of skipping an early level (thought it might be a turn) but cleared everything after. Good job~

the tutorial levels were incredibly put together, it is explained so well with no words

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

I've seen and played a lot of puzzle games, so I sort of got a feel for making tutorial levels.

Glad you stopped by. :)

Really cool puzzle game. I like how the different mechanics explain them selves throughout the levels, but I'm also amazed that you were able to put in quite a lot of different concepts.

Thank you.

just complete the game.
I liked this puzzle,

Although some levels were noticeably easier than others, for example, I still did not understand the difficulty of the exclamation mark.

And I also like this pixel art, great job!

Developer

Thank you.

Yes. I do believe I should've explored the exclamation point block a bit more for the game. I'll keep that in mind.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Enjoyed the varied puzzles, definitely had me stumped for a moment in one level :D

The visuals are great and make for a nice accessible game. Good thought to use both shapes + colors to distinguish each step in the sequence.

Recommend adding some background music alongside the existing SFX, but nonetheless an excellent submission!

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

And, I do agree that background music would have helped.

Still, glad you enjoyed it. :)

Loved your puzzle design. very unique and creative. Great job.

Would love to receive your feedback on my little puzzle game too ^^ thanks

Developer(+1)

Thanks you.

And, consider it done. :)

This was a really nicely designed puzzle game! It was very clear what I needed to do and what each tile's effect was. I feel like it maximized the repeating pattern mechanic, great job

Developer

Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

This is a pretty clever puzzle game. Maybe I feel it's lacking an additional mechanic to be labeled as truly great, but the idea is very nicely executed. Congrats 👍

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

And, yeah, I wish I could've added more, but real life and time constraints kept me from doing that.

Still, glad you stopped by. :)

Cool entry, I really liked the concept! It's fun to play, especially at the later levels where special tiles are introduced.

I think that the introductions to [?] and [!] tiles should convey their mechanics a bit more clearly.  At first, I thought that I would have to guess what's hidden under the [?] pattern step by stepping on tiles until I got it (thankfully that wasn't the case, I just thought my guesses were very lucky until I encountered the tile which converted a pattern step into a [?] tile).

Also, it's nice that some puzzles have multiple solutions :) But still, I don't think I did all of them in the 'intended' way :D For example, I didn't use the pattern-changing tile in Level 11 and found a path that didn't require it.

If you update the game after the jam, I suggest adding some more restrictions, like deactivating the button if you step on the switch again or making tiles that disappear after you step off them. That way, the game will be slightly more challenging while still keeping its non-linear nature.

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

I'll definitely keep your feedback in mind.

Glad you stopped by. :)

This one is the best one so far. the idea is cool and the artwork too. but I think there should be many sounds of "loosing" because in harder levels you just constantly hear the same sound of "loosing" :)

Developer

Thank you.

I'll consider your thoughts for the future.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

This is good. The puzzles are good and my only complain is that the red button looks a bit like the goal button. The puzzles are actually well designed and I like the question mark feature the most. I would only improve it by adding more sound effects and maybe make it more visually clear once you have landed on the lightning block. An undo feature would've been nice.

Developer(+1)

Thank you.  And, your feedback is noted for the future.

Glad you stopped by. :)

Very enjoyable game, kept me in the flow, and the mechanics were introduced in way that I instantly understood them.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Cool concept and level design. Love the art of five types of patterns. It gradually teaches new mechanics which keeps me engaged. Well done.

Developer

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Nice game! A good concept, really well executed. I liked the introduction of special tiles in the loop, it really added another layer to the puzzle. Nice number of levels too for a jam game. Good job!

this game I great, the idea works, and the execution is fenomenal, it's all it needs to be and no more, I do miss the lack of an Undo however, I found myself looking for it several times throughout the game, other then that, it's great

Developer

Thank you.

And, sorry about the lack of an undo button. I was busy and ran out of time.

Still, glad you enjoyed it. :)
