What was the flower thing on the dragon. The idea its really creative.

Developer(+1)

It's spears that you have to collect to maximize your score. Thanks!

I love the graphics, and the dragon looks awesome! Overall great vibes. I like the lil guy you play as too. This would be so cool with more objectives about taking care of the dragon, which might help the player feel more of a bond with it too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, after the review process I'll take a look on how I can rework the game and I'll add your comment into my design, it sure would be very neat addition to have a more meaningful way to take care of the dragon!

I don't know what exactly I'm doing in this game and what it's supposed to lead to, but I got stuck in it for about 40 minutes, just trying to stay on the dragon. It turned out to be an interesting meditative process. Good idea, keep it up!

Developer(+2)

Wow you played a lot, thanks! with time frame I decided to let the mysteries work for me by adding spears that you have to remove from the dragon. I'm very glad you liked the vibe, for me was a première where I try to be intentional about it!

Loved the graphics, cute little guy and an interesting concept.

good artstyle , remind me of Kid A Mnesia exhibition

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I did not knew about Kid A Mnesia exhibition before your comment and I do see the similarities!

Yeah, pondering while looking at the stars can get philosophical. Thanks!

didnt expect a 3d game like this lmao, pretty fun for what it is

Developer

Thanks!

Nice game with an interesting art style! Only managed 226 for now. Cool take on the theme, great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! if it can help, you can press shift or Y on a controller to dash while on the floor to stay on the dragon longer!

Submitted(+1)

the 3D art is super trippy and fun. It def caught my attention!!

Developer

Thanks!

Interesting setting. I like the stars, it feels otherworldly. The gameplay is a bit strange, do I just have to stay on the dragon? Also the player controller could use a bit of polish. But nice!

Developer(+2)

If you can collect the spears as fast as possible, it maximize your score because it affect your score gained per second.

Thanks for your comment on the vibe! I'm exploring how I can create good ambience, glad you took interest in it!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool that you made all the assets yourself. Creative idea as well!

Developer

Thanks!

Not sure I've seen this concept before actually! Nice idea. Is it inspired by the Dragon Road in Dragon Ball Z? Controls could be more developed and tight maybe, as well as the audio, but tbh with one dev in four days this is pretty impressive :p will come back to see how it is developped in the future if you update !

The dragon ball z dragon road was among the inspiration! I do like the style of shinryu in dbz serie!

As for update, I'm thinking how to make the dragon move more freely and still be a nice playable challenge! The idea itself would be a great experience to push my skill further in a more relaxed way out of the jam.

Thank you for your interest!

cool take on the loop concept got around 400 points!

Developer

Thanks!

Interesting idea, but at some point I felt more like a lot of the difficulty came from the controls, rather than the dragon. The idea of removing spears from the dragon's back does definitely sound like an intriguing way to add a little spice to the gameplay.

Developer

Thanks! that's actually the rodeo part, Challenging your controller to get the mac score! The spears were for me an easy way to anchor the world story telling with the mystery of their origin.

I like your interpretation of the theme. Solid concept. Got 449 :)

Developer

Thank you for your kind word!

Submitted(+1)

i love the visuals of the titular dragon road. it'd be cool to maybe have it shift around more to make the player move in more directions

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Due to the jam time constraint I wanted to scope as simple as possible. Your comment is ahead of my planning,  once the jam review finishes I want to rework the dragon so that it would feel more like a rodeo or a journey on the back of the dragon.

i did arround 170(i think ?) i got pushed away when it went faster than my character speed, idea is interesting !

Developer

Thanks!
