Super fun game! While I was playing, I was thinking how much I liked upgrades and that this game would be more fun with upgrades, then an upgrade popped up! Hahahaha, perfect timing!

Nice retro style and 8bit-ish sounds, reminded me bugatron game from my childhood a bit. Explosions and boom are juicy. Controls were a bit hard when Im upside down, maybe control with mouse would feel better. For music I would say some more sci-fi or space theme would be more engaging

The upgrade and difficulty progression plays great! You can really feel the upgrades making a difference without being too overpowered. The polish is incredible, and gameplay loop is very addictive. Well done!

This game blew me away, i've rated about 20 so far and this is far and away my favorite.
I love the aesthetic, the gameplay, and the concept so much (i named my first dog after Laika and she recently passed </3)

I love that you can "melee" the enemies as well as shoot. If you were to continue developing this, i'd say add challenge rounds with many planes or asteroids but only those enemies, or rounds where you can't shoot, or rounds where you can't "melee" so to speak.

A proven retro game concept with modern roguelite mechanics is a guaranteed banger.  I love Laika and I love to choose one of three options, what's there not to love? The shotgun really came in clutch!

Simple concept executed very well! Upgrades, waves, multiple enemy types. Small touches like fires on the planet to show you damage taken and Laika herself. Excellent showcase of game design

THE THEMATIC IS SO GOOD!!!! I feel like I'm playing a game that came out from an universe where videogames came out earlier and the soviet union used them for their propaganda LOL. It's incredibly well accomplished!

Sadly, my Laika couldn't end up saving the world... But hey! Atleast capitalism was destroyed, so it's not a big loss after all!
