Ranked from 48 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
Along with the looping nature of gathering resources, firing your moon-laser and upgrading, the world itself is created in a series of concentric orbits, and you have to aim carefully to get maximum resources.

Your average rank is #53 in GMTK 2025! Congrats!

Here is the link with all the rankings:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pcYEGvaHF3y30mMEWwywmkRd2FCpo-u3_ZFpPFSo...

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with "Mark" that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.

Yet another mouse/rat game that is perfection! Fun and silly gameplay with an interesting loop mechanic, deserving of a top spot.

Bug list:

- You can stack a new kind of material over an old one in the cannon menu, causing the numbers to get weird.

- When you destroy the moon the victory screen appears the second the laser touches the moon surface. You don't get to enjoy the laser eating its way all the way to the core

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed!

And yeah haha the stacking bug is something I noticed at 3AM on the last day I could spend on the jam so we just hoped people wouldn't notice :P

Also I really wanted a big explosion cinematic but eh- that's jams!

cant run it sadly. idk maybe my internet is dead it looks so fun tho

Developer

Yeah that happens with WebGls if you're on really weak wifi. If you try again it might work!

To make such insane surreal stuff, it takes a lot of effort and I can see that you guys put it in. Really satisfying game, All the details like stocks pleas for mercy and of course the laser vfx are top notch, bravo!

Developer

Thank you so much! ^o^/

hell freaking yeah man. i want a sequel where the cheese guys fight back i feel so bad and need to see them win

Developer(+1)

That is actually a really good idea :O
ok now I'm tempted...

Those cheese slices were being annoying, glad they're gone! (had to say that for the mouse media, I can never atone for what I have done...)

Incredibly fun gameplay loop! I love the crazy maximalist visuals going on, and all the popups and visual effects add a wonderful flavour and style to the game and its narrative. Incredible work!!

I have no idea. I mean... you know... This was... something. I'll definitely not forget this game any time soon :D Thanks for the trip!

This is what I come to game jams for.  Pure unfiltered style and originality, from head to tail. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for what you guys come up with next!

Developer

Developer

This is the sort of comment I live for. Thank you so much for playing!

It's incredibly fun to look at and listen to! I don't know how you managed to do something insane like this in only 4 days, I really don't...

Developer

thank you so much!

Were actually a professional gamedev studio and this pushed us to our limits >o<

One of my favorite games so far! Super creative, and I loved the music, loved when the loop restarted everytime I shot the moon, loved the concept, had so much fun playing it! Well done!

Such a cool art style! Love it!

stupid pointless fun haha i enjoyed blowing up the moon except i wish i would see it, it skipped to the end screen right when i hit it with enough power. i also enjoyed shutting up the mouse even tho i feel a bit bad for them

Developer

haha totally fair :P

We ran out of time for the big ending cutscene, but I’m really glad you enjoyed the rest.
