Okay, I'm calling it here...

Could have gone longer but there wasn't anything to gain and it started getting repetitive. It controlled very well. The movement was a bit abrupt to my liking, could have used a bit of a slower acceleration for more precision. I constantly was just barely tapping the keys to move to fight against it but wasn't a deal breaker by any means.

The gameplay loops was nice. But the lack of any difficulty increase really (instead it just keeps getting easier as you get more jetpack) and no real loss from failing too makes it kinda get old. Obviously there are tons of different additions to the game you could implement that'd make it more interesting and give it longer legs. More stuff to buy and more interesting/different levels come to mind first.

Very early on on the loops the RNGesus served me this "nice" spawn spot.

The whole hold down to look down was kinda annoying and unnecessary slowdown. I think it could have been at that 2/3 ratio normally cause you don't really need to see above at all and then using the key you could show even more. And the delay could be shortened too. Also the coins moving one by one at the end of the level got kinda tedious to wait for. It could at least speed up every coin so that gathering 10 coins won't have you sit there for 10x the time.

Another controls related thing that was kinda annoying was the need to do the shopping with using mouse when the game otherwise wasn't using it. Especially since half the time you can't afford anything and other times you just buy another jetpack level (or pointless armor if you're into that). Obviously this would be different with more interesting shopping choices. But having keyboard controls there too at least in addition would have been nice.

Having worked with that sprite pack once before, I recognized it immediately! 😅 It's such an amazing sprite sheet with tons of variety. And the music bops too! The music was just a bit on the low volume side compared to the sound effects. The sound effects got kinda monotonous as there wasn't that much there and the low music volume but nothing too bad.

Anyways, fun game with loads of potential for more additional features. Good job! 👍

Very enjoyable snappy movement. And the level generator is pretty good, how does it work?

Pretty fun gameloop, i was confused at first thinking it was a set of levels then realizd the roguelike aspect and had a lot of fun with the jetpack mechanic to reach the preivously unreachable coins. Idk if it was a bug but on jetpack lvl1 sometimes the normal jump wasnt working properly or so it felt.
