Pretty neat take on the Loop theme, and I while the visuals were pretty simplistic, I actually thought they had a lot of charm and character. The SFX were a bit loud for my headphones and I didn't see a way to lower the volume. I'm sure I just missed it tho.
All in all, a very solid game jam entry!

nice idea! I love it

Spooky loop has juice for juice ontop of more juice- it's basically juice soup. this game is so dang satisfying and pretty fun to boot.

I like the idea, it's simple yet effective. The duration of ghost spawning is well balanced, as well as movement and jumping speed, and level sizes and layouts. However high acceleration with non-existent deceleration creates uncontrollable movement for no good reason. I'm usually dedicated enogh to complete any jam game, but this time I couldn't finish 3rd level, and ghosts have nothing to do with it: it's just difficult platforming alone. In a jam game that's supposed to be about loops and ghosts, it distracts from the core idea too much.
At the same time, I find both visuals and sound super good and polished. Starting cutscene with big hand reminded me of World of Goo's absurd style in a good way. Great game, good job!

Loved the concept, simple to understand but worked really well with how your levels were designed. The artwork and sound design is super cute I love it! Only downside in my opinion is that the movement is a little too slippery, making it hard to jump/move exactly where you want which can be a bit annoying. All in all though super great job!

Came here from itteration 101 :) and i was really afraid of myself.

Very cool and straightforward design. I really liked the audio, and the slow finger stretch in the opening cutscene made me laugh out loud.

Game is fun and has great sound design, especially in intro cutscene. =D Movement, though, felt kinda slippery and it made me rage quit on third level already. T_T

The presentation gives me real Animal Well vibes, very nice! Very fun and difficult game. Sometimes the controls felt a little bit unresponsive or slippery.

Great concept and the visuals were great. I like the smoothness of the movement, but found it to be too slippery at times,  making it difficult to be precise, especially when the number of shadows got higher and I needed to weave between multiple jumps.

That intro sequence had me laughing, absolute peak. Loved the walk cycle too, it gave the character so much charm.

The core idea was really creative and well executed. I did find the movement a bit floaty at times, which made it hard to control in tighter spots, but it didn’t take away too much from the fun.

Really cool concept overall!

Fun concept! I really like the combination of artwork and audio. Playing against your shadow is a fun idea, I like the fact of programming my moves so I don't get "spooked". Controls are kind of annoying, they took some of the enjoyment out for me, the movement is too slippery, especially in this case where I wanted some precision. Still very enjoyable, but a bit of frustration when levels get harder.

Record your shadow so cool !

Fun platformer, good job!

a really good one, but controls impact was bad for especially for jumps and it ruined my experience

anything else is well polished

amazing! Already gave my opinion on the itch page. PLEASE ADD AIR CONTROL, LEVEL 4 IS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!

I liked this, it was a more classic take on the corpse run/after-image idea some other games had. I did feel that the difficulty scaling was pretty punishing as the controls are very loose. Great execution for a jam game!

I've seen similar concepts but this one is one of the best I've seen here. It's really fun, and I remember thinking, after dying the millionth time:  "I really wanna blame the game, but in this game you can really only blame yourself. " That is until I got to level 3. I think the platforming in the beginning of that level is too hard. The difficulty of this game should come solely from the ghosts chasing you, no need to make the platforming punishing as well. Other than that though, I think it's one of the best games in this jam. I definitely kept playing and playing even though I kept dying and dying. I guess that's a good sign!

while i didnt plan on making the platforming hard, it kinda became hard as i messed up the physics when fixing a wall related bug. The ghosts still offer a challange, especially on the last part of level 3 😅 infact a lot of levels still have you thinking of your moves and not that much platforming (expect for level 4)

Oh yeah for sure, I'm not saying the ghosts arent a challenge. They definitely are, trust me, I know with how many times I died 😅. What I meant to say was that platforming shouldn't be this hard if the ghosts are already hard. But yeah, great game! Would be great if you could rate my game too! :)
