The sound effects are top notch. Pssshhhhh! Huh! Ooof. Aaaahh. Amazing, truly the best of the best hahaha. I also liked the gameplay loop of unlocking more and more shortcuts, kinda reminded me of firelink shrine from dark souls.

My main criticism is, how does the dying really affect the game? As it stands, it feels a bit more like a teleport back to the start than really adding something that a normal warp point wouldn't. Think about how the time loop / death loop / whatever you want to call it affects the gameplay.

I think it has potential!

Thank you very much! Yeah I feel like there was alot more I could have tapped into. It really does just kinda serve as a warp back to the start.

I'd like to see where it could go in the future!

And I'd like to see what you think about my game too! :)

I have to agree with the other comments, great visuals and sounds :D

As for the gameplay, I like the looping mechanic and I think it works well in the beginning. However, at some point the way back becomes a bit tedious. I think a level layout with more shortcuts or generally shorter paths would help. It can also be a bit frustrating when you don't see far enough, especially the moving platforms leaving the window so you don't really know when to jump/dash.

I couldn't complete the game because the boss (I think?) killed me before I could react, and when teleporting there again, I got killed instantly, probably because I spawned on top of it.

Overall I really enjoyed the game though :)

Darn sorry that happened! There is a secret to the left of the boss room where you can upgrade your sword. But yeah the game probably could have used some checkpoints or something like that. Thank you for playing!!!!
