This one has got JUICE. Maybe a little too much - good on you for making the screen shake optional. Very solid, classic underlying gameplay. One criticism I'd have is that you don't know the extent of the map as in something like Bosconian so it can feel like the space doesn't matter much aside from the upgrades simply making you strafe a little less. The theming is also not super clear and I wish the title screen tutorial was more incorporated into the game. Being thrown into it though, it was understandable and fun.

Really cool! I love how smooth the flying around feels

I like the unique way the enemies deal damage to you! Also I love the parallax stars, they turned out really good. The screenshake was definitely very intense so I’m glad you included an option haha

Great game idea! Really enjoyed playing, its a fun mechanic the way enemies doing damage. Although my frames did drop when there was a lot of them on my screen

I might have short-circuited :D

Great submission!  I liked the shooter-style of this game, but it took me a minute to get into the groove of the "circuit" doing damage.  I think it's a unique mechanic and would have some interesting uses if you want to continue to expand this game.  Like what if the + and - were strategically laid out like an obstacle course or land mines.  Overall, enjoyable game and I wish you luck in the jam!

If you want to try out a fellow "circuit" game, you can check out my submission. :)

that is such a cool concept and so well executed

i felt like the art fitted the game and really felt like it was conncted to concept

i did my best to deal with the enemies :)  you did a great job

is you like to try my brother's game its here :) https://zyhu.itch.io/pool-loop

Very,  very nice looking game.

The enemy connections was an interesting mechanic. It made it so I didn't have to just dodge all the enemies but only the opposite pairs.

Nice job!

Oh wow, this game is awesome! It feels so good to zoom around and hit enemies. The damage mechanic is is insanely unique. This deserves so many more views than it has! The vibe is so fun and the polish is very nice. You should be so proud!

Great gameplay, I got a high score of 1810 before stopping. I think the enemy mechanic is super unique. I like that you need two enemies of opposite charges to be connected to get hurt. I think this mechanic coupled with the enemies coming in different sizes made for a unique and challenging experience.

I did notice around 1810 score that enemies seemed to stop spawning if I wasn't moving. idk if that is by design and I just didn't notice it earlier, but I suspect it is a bug.

Fantastic work, good shmup.

The gameplay was soo good, although at the end i was going so fast i couldn't even recognize where i was XD, audio, gameplay love the idea of that enemies only do damage if there are two different, it was so fun :DDD

It’s really cool! I enjoyed the artstyle a lot, and the theme interpretation was really unique! Short circuiting the player is incredibly funny and it plays off quite well mechanically. After some point the game becomes slightly laggy, because of the amount of enemies, but it might be a web-only problem. Overall - really well done!

This was REALLY satisfying. I think the positive/negative loop mechanic is an interesting twist, and I like how it encourages you to keep your distance until you find an opening. Plus I love a healthy serving of screen shake. If you plan to do more on this, I think adding a little bit more of an anticipation animation before an enemy attacks you could help with overall readability. Very good job!

thanks, that means a lot! fun fact: there was originally a zoom-in animation for when you were about to die, but I ended up scrapping it 45m before the deadline because I did it in a really unoptimized way and it lagged the game a ton
