That's one sassy crab you got there lol, that was fun. I like the atmosphere, but when I encounter the dark figure, a bunch of grass appears out of nowhere and I get stuck. I waited a bit with my torch off but I wasn't able to escape. Interesting dynamic, but I think some instructions for the player would help.
Loved the atmosphere, it felt spooky and claustrophobic. I didn’t really understand what to do, but I like the dialog and use of dynamic lighting!
Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, there is a lack of onboarding for the player. I’ve made a note about that and will make sure it will be fixed in the next update
Fun Once you understand mechanics. Interested in seeing the growth!
Thank you so much for your support <3
It's a bit hard to get the hang of it but when you learn how to escape enemies it becomes quite fun.
Thanks for your feedback! We will do a post-jamming development where we will enhance UX and more adapt it for guiding player with core game mechanics and the narrative
Love the crab, made me chuckle a bit.
The game itself could be nice but at the moment it's a bit bare bones. The scope might've been a bit too big for the little amount of time you had for this jam. It's always beter to focus on one single mechanic during a jam instead of doing a little bit of everythinig. For example the crab, even though I liked it, required you to make an entire dialogue system while you could've spent that time working on more interesting behaviour for the monster and how the forest loops.
Still well done for creating a game in this short time and keep on jamming!
Thanks for your fair feedback!
We will address all these issues and aim to improve our development cycles in the future. I agree with everything mentioned above and have planned to release a new version in a few weeks that includes bug fixes, enhancements, and additional in-game content.
