The idea is interesting, but it needs some more polish to really shine. A basic tutorial and some background music would have been a big plus!

I liked the game, once I figured out the rules. However, it took me some time to figure them out, so a tutorial would help. I also liked the art. Overall, I liked the game!

sounds very nice and simple for me, although id be nicer if there was a more direct tutorial.

i really like the game once i got the hang of it. I had a hard time understanding off the bat the different steps and what was happening. whenever i attacked the opponent at the first level i thought he was killing me and i was loosing but then i got the hang of it. Once I did ive been enjoying playing it quite a bit. I didnt catch on until seeing how the fit theme that i was playing against myself

Interesting idea but I frequently found myself in unwinnable positions and I really don't know what I could have done differently to prevent that. With some more playtesting and balancing this has the potential to be a great game!

Interesting idea, I just wish I knew how to play it. A detailed tutorial would be very helpful.

Interesting game, I couldn't get past the second level cause I didn't really understand what was happening, but I really liked the graphics and sounds! Nice work!

very fun game, interesting take on the theme and i love it! maybe a bit of a more in depth tutorial could have made it easier to understand, i felt a bit lost at the beginning, but game jam so understandable :)

if you have time, id really appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my game (/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780834) - its my first game jam and im looking to get better!

Looks interesting but it’s too bad that the rules aren’t explained. You can understand most of it by trying things but it’s still not very clear.

Developer

Thanks for playing, we wanted players to learn over the course of a few runs!

I struggled to understand how the tiles worked, but i can see the potential of the idea.

Thanks for trying it out!

Would be more engaging if it was easier to understand

Developer

Fun game! With some trial and error easy to understand, hard to master. Works very well and the music and SFX fit the game very well. I could not see the whole UI anymore when I had 6 buy options, but other then that it is polished and complete! Well done.

Developer

Easy to understand, hard to master! Thats what we like to hear! Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

Good board-game-like war game. I didnt now I could heal my units before they got hit but I unterstood it later. Actually fun to think about where to place your units. Need some polish but I like it. Also I'd like to see what I draw next to have things to consider.

Developer

Interesting idea to have the ability to see what the next draw would be, maybe that can be a shop upgrade. Thanks for playing!
