How does your game fit the theme?
We related the theme “LOOP” to the gameplay and context of the game. In it, it is possible to collect and dismantle resources in order to create new items, in exchange for receiving more and more resources to restart the production cycle. There is also a subtle criticism of the excessive use of plastic and its durability in our world, emphasized by the post-apocalyptic art style and “Diesel Punk” aesthetic.

Extremely cool game! I dig the aesthetic and playing it is very engaging, I like running around the studio as fast as I can. I got a score of 1000. I guess the thing is it's a little simple, that way. It doesn't let the player have many chances to really push the record, because (I think) the timer never goes up if you do well, or things like that. Conversely, if it did, I guess the gameplay loop could get stale after a while, since the game scope is pretty limited right now. It is a pretty good length for a jam game, I'd say! But I could see it getting expanded.

One proper criticism I have is that, since the machine you use to recycle scrap metal opens up when you're done, the collision is inconsistent there. Sometimes it wouldn't register me continuing to hold down the mouse because it opened too much while I was doing it. Sometimes it would be hard to understand where exactly I needed to stand in order for my mouse press to register in the first place. One time I got stuck inside its collision as it was opening and had to restart. It isn't a major nitpick, but it is worth pointing out.

This was a really cool game, loved the visuals and the audio and the narrative and thought the gameplay could be a bit expanded upon, but for such a short time, great submission!

Lovely artwork and music. Really interesting take on the concept too.

I liked this game, the pixelart and character designs are great. I also love the direction you took the theme, taking "loop" to mean recycling materials.

I'd love to have seen more products to produce, maybe by putting in different combinations of materials into the combiner? I also don't know if the game bugged on me or not, but I got a customer asking for "Nothing" and I couldn't get him to leave, so I think I got Karen'd to death.

Overall, high scores across the board.

Damn, it was a bug, so sorry. We ended up not noticing this during testing. With regard to the items, we wanted to add more to produce, the idea was to include a gas mask mixing two plastics. However, we decided to refine what we already had. But we are glad you liked it. :)

There's no way this game was made in 5 days, the art and music are way too good!

Yeeeah, it was very rough, but we made it haha
