Really love your idea of  loops in the universe! The combination of low pixel visual and sound effects in the game is very comfortable, and the completion of the game prototype is very high. Looking forward to more meteorite mechanisms, enhanced gameplay for shields, and higher challenges!

Simple idea well executed. Could do with some kind of indicator at the edge of the screen that shows when an asteroid is about to appear.

Also, there's a bit of lag the first time an asteroid is touched. I am pretty sure this is caused by you using GPUParticles2D

Oh hey, I’ve already seen this one elsewhere! You know, getting a bit philosophical here… it’s funny how the “Loop” theme naturally leads so many of us to think about celestial bodies, orbits, and day/night cycles. It’s just such a human thing? We’re literally living in a loop every day. 😄

Anyway, onto the game itself. The controls are tight, no complaints there. The artwork and sound design also work really well together and create a cohesive vibe.

What I would love to see improved is player feedback. For example, showing how long the power-ups last would be really helpful. The bounce (reflect) power-up especially felt kind of useless, and overall the power-ups were so short that it was rarely worth going for them over just blocking another asteroid. Sometimes they even flew way too far to reach I think.

It might also help if asteroids had more visual cues, like particles indicating speed or some kind of impact warning. That would give players a bit more of a chance to react strategically.

I recorded my playthrough and will upload it when I get a chance!

Thank you so much for playing! I originally wanted the reflect to bounce back asteroids at other asteroids or alien enemies that didn't make it in. There's a bug in the asteroid collision, they're both supposed to destroy if one bounces into another. And I wanted to add a popup on screen for the current effects and the time left.  This was my first jam so I'm learning time management is SUPER vital.

I think you did very well!

Great game! Simple but very competent.

I like the idea, the asteroids could collide with each other, adding more chaos! Well done!

Solid gameplay. Watching the asteroid and estimate which one would strike first was fun. One power up idea: asteroids can be hold and shoot against other.

I plan on adding all the features I couldn't fit in time for the jam(Aliens attacks, better power up UI, etc.). I'll try to add this as well it sounds cool!
