I love puzzle games like this, and this was really fun. I didn't get through all the levels, but I enjoyed how complex they were getting. I did wish there was a way to speed up the energy traveling through the loops when I finished a level.

Really cool concept.  The puzzles felt well made and I enjoyed the mechanics.

This is a winner circle contender. I like this and will end up playing more of this.  Love the particle acceleration!

Really neat game! Great job, really enjoyed playing it

I really like the concept of this for a puzzle game. The difficulty curve is very nice, while still providing a challenge. Very cool game!

Really good idea! Loved the game though artwork could be improved a bit.

Very fun puzzles. I enjoyed the moment *spoiler* when I figured out that the pulse will always turn right at a dead end. Got stuck eventually at the first really big puzzle, but if I had more time I would have pushed forward more. Great game! The music you chose was also a good choice for a puzzle game, nice background music that isn't too 'in your face'.

Since you said you also want constructive criticism, a small thing I can think of is it would be nice if there was some indicator showing the progression you're making -- which could be as small as stating the level number at the beginning, or the level number / (total levels) indicated somewhere.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  I totally agree, having an indicator for how far you are would be great to judge whether it's time to end a session or not.  Also a level selector from the title screen, so once you know the "name" of each puzzle from the indicator (even if it's just a number), you can come back later and jump straight to where you left off!

Thanks for playing!

You took a really basic complex and made something interesting and challenging. It made me feel smart 💡

I like the final effect. However, it feels a little slow after seeing it a few times so a speed up/skip button wouldn't go unappreciated. Either way, I enjoyed my time here and title is just perfect!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  I totally agree that the pulse movement and effects need some player-controlled configuration.  Some people want it to play longer, and some want it shorter!  Being able to click to skip is also a great suggestion with very little downside to include.

Thanks for playing!

Love a good puzzle game! Good ramping of mechanics over the first few levels as well. Congrats on submitting a game!

Super cool puzzle game with neat aesthetics and solid mechanics that keeps you hooked throughout the levels! The process of experimentation is fun which leads into a satisfying feeling when you get a working solution!

A simple concept but challenging levels. Nice Work! Only switching between mouse and keyboard feels a bit odd. Right clicking should rotate a block. Good tutorial at the start.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  I agree, having the ability to rotate with the mouse would remove the need for a keyboard at all for core gameplay, and make the game much more mobile-friendly!  I think I would add it to left-click, rather than right-click, because this maps better to the mobile platform.

Thanks for playing!

Fantastic puzzler! This could do really well as a mobile game, it's the kind of game I could see playing on my commute. Really great concept and execution!

This is an awesome puzzle game! I really enjoyed it. Great work.

This game forced me to think and I like it :D

Its really fun! So simple but with the music it feels very satisfying.

As feedback i would make it a mouse only game its weird to have to use the keyboard just to rotate, feels out of place and the pulse starts way to slow.

I do really love the pulse build up and the fade out its really satisfying and makes the game much better somehow really nice and juicy very nice! And the puzzles are really good to understand without any instructions so good puzzle flow :)

The pulse speed also definitely needs a slider that lets the player have more control over the pace they want.  I band-aid fixed this for some levels like the four-leaf clover, since it was painfully slow haha.  But the pulse should really move at a speed proportional to how far it's about to travel, perhaps.

Thanks for playing!

God damn the puzzle submissions this year are good, except for some UI improvements your game feels like it could very well be on steam as an early access
