really fun concept, also spy.exe made me laugh.
I love the twist! I really hope people play through the "ViKing" segment and experience the narrative portion! Wish the ViKing part was more polished but solid piece for a game jam
Daymm, this is a 5/5 narrative without a doubt. The game viking is a bit janky at times but the hole narrative around it makes the hole thing really fun. Great job I loved it.
This is brilliant. That moment when [early spoiler] happens and the camera pulls back and you see [early spoiler]? Incredible. I love the “cold open.”
I was surprised when the game became one about creating a game. Over all it was a super creative idea, and I liked the ability to change the player's power level.
The boss was just a big red box that threw some kind of exception. It had an interesting art style but the readability of the level was inconsistent.
. . . You should keep playing this game.
Loved the graphics and the immersion of the game, was surprised the first time when defeating that first "boss".
Controls we're a bit too loose if it makes any sense, moving around wasn't as responsive as I would've liked it to be. Would be nice to see some some random optional add-ons (like the double jump, extra axes, etc.) with each loop.
Interesting concept, I like how you adapted to the theme. The controls were a bit unresponsive (maybe they improve in later iterations?), and the platform hitboxes were a bit off, which made the repetitions a bit more frustrating than charming.
Let me start by saying: I really dig the art style of this game, the first boss fight made me actually laugh out loud when I first saw it, all in all, this is a fantastic game, that feels like it could become a full release, good work!
