I sank so many times. If the goal of the game was to destroy the enemy with brute force, here you have a winner. Good challenge.

I found the game really enjoyable and responsive to play.

I've seen a few jam entries with the concept of trapping enemies in loops, and I think this one is my favorite in that style.

The music and SFX are solid — I especially liked the random sound variation when picking up crates, instead of hearing the same one every time.

The artwork is also beautiful.

Overall, a very solid jam entry!

Thought this was a nice simple game with some good art! The controls are tough, but I think that's what makes it challenging to play. The pirates, though, have AI that will hone in on you like a hawk and be right on your tail - I think the enemy AI would need to be tweaked in the future to make the game less challenging. Nice work!

Nice entry! I liked the atmosphere and music, and having to avoid pirate ships was a great addition – kept things challenging!

Really fun game! I think it would have befitted from a hard mode where everything is faster!

Really fun and engaging! Tried creating the largest loop I could around the entire screen to then collect everything, holy guacamole, my ears exploded capturing everything at once hahaha

Really cool use of the theme! Took a bit to figure out, but once I did it was really fun. Music and pixel art were great too! I would have liked some more quality of life improvements like having the buttons highlight when you hover over them or pausing the game when you get a game over.

Oh, this game art is so nice. and design like evolved snake game is so good!

Cool, it's a fun game and interesting use of a "loop" mechanic

As a programmer, I really liked the enemy mechanics — they turned out quite smart. I think I might have gone a bit overboard with the chasing in the fish section, and there they completely terrorize the player.

Steering is quite smooth and I really enjoy the artwork :)

Really good execution! I've played a few "loop around a thing" games and I like that in this one your points are dependent on looping around something stationary instead of having to loop around moving targets. I also really like the turning animations on the boats!

I love your concept- it’s very intuitive. And visually your game is cohesive. I especially appreciated how you made the water feel subtly dynamic. Great work!

Uncommon implementation of "Loop", and very functional.
The pirates are a bit relentless though, so you gotta rebuild rope fast.
