How does your game fit the theme?
When you find yourself dragged away from your orb on a fine autumn day, a simple errand quickly becomes an endless cycle as you find yourself running all over your quirky town. Essentially, Make Yourself Useful! is a play on the Rich Guest Paradox, the transfer of goods endlessly looping around a town, where no one technically benefits. Portrayed through our simple dialogue system and reinforced by the music and ambiences, we have hidden subtle loops throughout this short experience. Of course, nothing feels more like an endless cycle than being scolded by your mother…

pondering my orb rn
neat little game! adore the art and the writing was fun. every time i thought the end credits would end they kept going haha. I did manage to sequence break, as you're able to speak to everyone before reaching the end of town the second time, but it's a minor issue.
anyway back to my orbing and whatnot.
Haha this was quite funny! I like the idea of going on a foolish errand and needing to go back and forth for no real reason. Also managed to sit through that passionate wall of text.
That was so fun! The art and characters we adorable and I spent way too long wandering back and forth just enjoying the whole thing!
Cute art, but I wish the gameplay was expanded on a lot more! It's a little weird that the credits are.. way longer than the length of the actual game when they could have been integrated into the world and used for some more worldbuilding! It sounds like people are getting yelled at by their parents enough in the comments...
