Really fun game! I really liked the graphics for the everywhere gun and the loop gun. The only thing I wouldve still liked was maybe some kind of damage indication, because at first i wasnt sure if i was actually damaging the big enemies. Still great game tho!
Yeah, I wanted to have damage numbers but I ran out of time. Thanks for playing
"Simplicity is genius" =) Fun game, simple art, but still enjoyable. Good job! =)
Simple but very enjoyable game.
Definitely see potential in this! The main game loop is solid, though the start feels a bit slow. If you design some terrain obstacles and upgrade the visuals to suit whatever theme you like, I could really see this working.
neat straight to the point game i like it
The curve to power up was quite slow for a gamejam game, but i can see the vibe!
I have a weak spot for survivorslikes, and this one definitely scratched that itch! I was able to quickly break the game by maxing out Everywhere Gun and Cross Gun which made the first few minutes really sluggish. The permanent upgrades should come with faster paced enemies as well so the beginning doesn't feel as slow. Nice take on the idea though! And the UI was probably the best part, not sure what you were on about there saying it wasn't great lol
Thanks for playing! I didn't have a lot of time to tweak the balance, but I'm pretty happy with the progression. Having some broken builds seems like it's normal for roguelikes. Glad you liked the UI, I made it from scratch because I couldn't get a UI library working with web builds.
Yeah well done on the UI, what game engine did you use?
I didn't use a game engine, just raylib for rendering, sound, and input.
Impressive! Makes me wonder what this would look like with more time to develop.
Finally, I can fight an army MYSELF!
it's a nice little game. ^^
That was fun but a little too difficult at the beginning (too much enemy and that was hard to kill them with the cross gun lv1)
Thanks for playing!
