Nice roguelike! I like the premise of the game revolving around circling around and selecting different tiles to change to. Visually it looks pretty cool too (the player character reminds me a lot of Hollow Knight). There's a few bugs here and there but its not all that bad for a 4 day jam project so good work here!

Cool game!

I loved the art style, especially the character and enemies. The core gameplay loop worked really well, too. I really liked how the upgrades affected the map, I thought that was a very unique mechanic.

I did encounter a small bug where I died on level 4, and the rotating blockage came with me back to level 1.

Great work overall!

thank u!!!

and yeah. bugs. sucks. not surprising though. if you saw my code you'd have a brain aneurysm.

really liked this game! a big sucker for rogue likes and having the map being the consequence for your upgrades is really nice and creative.

one thing that took away from the experience was the bugs that I encountered while playing in full screen, but that's bound to happen in game jams, maybe making the scope a bit smaller could help with this though

well done overall though, had fun

Pretty fun, having to keep moving in a loop was a fun way to spice up the genre. Maybe had a minor bug where I could hit the guy in the middle in quick succession for multiple upgrades, not sure if that's intended or not!

Developer

it's not, but honestly its cool anyways

Really nice concept. The game didnt't seem to pause when I levelled up and caused windows to be hidding the gameplay and died with windows popping out of reach. Love the concept of changing the tiles you're playing on though !

Developer

> windows popping out of reach
oh shit. uh. that's not supposed to happen O.O

Very creative. Seems like a large scope for a game jam, but I enjoyed playing it :-)

Had a lot of fun playing it! The sound/music really captured the going on a quest vibe. I did run into a couple of bugs though (rotation also only happening in some playthroughs, being able to get the next ability immediately if you spam click the boss after receiving one). Still overall, really solid concept :D

yippee!!!

Really cool game! I thought the aesthetic was really interesting, and the gameplay loop is good. Solid base for a roguelike. I was a bit confused by the switching and rotation mechanics.

yeah i def couldve explained that better. however. uh. if you look at my code you will have an aneurysm trying to understand how i implemented the tutorial stuff. so. uh. i didn't X|

thank u for playing :D
