Definitely a creative idea! I imagine getting it to detect a valid knot was a challenge. Once I had 4-5 pieces chained together it got impossible to click on because the whole thing started flailing about. I don't know a thing about fishing or tying knots, but it could be interesting if you had to tie different kinds of knots to adjust for different types of fish or something.
Thanks! Yeah, I only had 2 days or so to make the mechanics but overscoped, haha. Sorry about the lines flailing about, rigidbodies are always so finnicky to deal with. Let’s say the lore behind it is that the fish are too powerful :P Thanks for the ideas, I might work on them post-jam if I have the motivation!
Loved the pixel art and the music was bangin! The controls and understanding what to do seemed a bit tough though. If you decide to refine things post jam I'm sure many could enjoy the idea you had in mind! Best of luck.

Nice concept, but couldn't get the knot to be A or A+, when it gets A or A+ and I release it, immediately went down to F lolz
Sorry about the lack of explanation lol, you had to get it through the first knot you made. I’m pretty confident I’ll win the award for the worst tutorial in the jam this year :p Glad you liked the concept though!

It's a really great idea and fits the theme well! :) The art is cute too! But I had my problems with making the knot properly :') Though, it's impressive that you made this in just a few days!
