How does your game fit the theme?
The player is on rails looping around the object they are trying to protect. Thematically it is also set around a program trying to loop through logic, during which you are trying to protect it from other programs attempting to stop it.

It was a bit repetitive to play, but otherwise ptetty fun to try and deal with all the enemies. I think more enemy types would be neat

sounds are lacking, the bullets seem to travel too slowly than the enemies, some gameover screen would be nice
This is a tried and true game mechanic, however it does seem oversaturated. I was excited to see the lock mechanic since that was a bit more fresh. However the first time it appear for me it was hidden behind the progress bar which led to me aiming into the abyss. This is a great launch pad into something greater.
Interesting game, it was actually fun. Looping over the heart and protecting it was kinda fun, honestly.
But here are some key details if you want to make it better:
First, there is no sound in the game except for some enemy sounds. If you had used music, that would have been perfect.
In my playtime, when you die, you just go back to the main menu without any game over screen. It makes things feel a bit weird, as I was playing and suddenly the heart got attacked and I died, but instead of a death screen, it just sent me back to the main menu.
The most essential thing here is the lack of audio. If you add more sounds to it, it would be perfect.
That said, nice implementation of the concept of loop. I personally liked it ╰(*°▽°*)╯
Thanks for the feedback! Happy to hear that it was able to entertain. :)
I'll definitely be going back over it for a polishing pass sometime after the voting period is done, I actually did have some music lined up but it didn't loop (heh) well and editing it into segments/searching for another wasn't high enough a priority for the time limit.
That is perfect dude, I am glad you wanna make it more polished. And also have fun making more games !! ^0^
