I liked the idea, but I had a lot of trouble grabbing the rope, even with the instruction in the description.

Love the core concept of wrapping the rope around things, but the 2nd level was where I got stuck! The physics he has while holding a rope are pretty sluggish and make it difficult to move.

Hope you continue to iterate on it in the future!

Hey! Congrats on submitting this entry. My main piece of feedback is below;

It’s really important to nail down and polish the main mechanic of a video game and make it feel good before adding any more content. I can see that you have multiple levels built using this rope mechanic, but based on the other comments, it seems it’s really hard to get to them (I was only able to get passed the first level).

So I guess this is feedback on time management, instead of spending time adding new levels, it’s better to spend time making the grabbing of rope REALLY good, and have one simple level with this really good mechanic.

Well done overall!

Loved the sound design, couldn't grab the rope

Yeah it's kind of finicky. You have to hold the mouse button and run into the end of the rope, I actually ran out of time to display the instructions, and there was a whole story written lol

Played through the game again, hard to grab rope and movement values aren't great if u tested it would be great, not too obvious where to go but amazing concept and cool gameplay

Seems neat but I couldn't figure out how to grab the rope. Submission/time issues?
