Very cool idea I enjoyed playing this a lot! I really how simple and understandable the game. The artstyle is a little bit too simple in my opinion. Overall an awesome game for this jam! Could you rate my game?

Fun game! Maybe some more camera space would've been nice or another mechanic to add some tension into the mix, but overall a good entry and very much enjoyed making everyone dizzy hehe :)

Developer

Thanks! The camera can be moved with WASD, I should have definitely made that clearer in the tutorial.

This is one game where I look at the creation on my screen, and  instantly crave for some spaghetti.

Hungry? :)

Anyway, fun little coaster doodler :) I'd wish (apart from more parts, and free path drawing) there was a zoom function - as well as a way to speed up that sloooow track rotation.

Cheers!

Thanks for your comment! I thought of adding free path drawing, but didn’t think I’d have enough time to count points when the path made a loop, which would be the only way to make it fair. I’ll definitely try to fix the rotation speed post jam though!

Fun game, but I would have enjoyed some more variety but overall a pretty good game

Developer(+1)

yeah I would have liked to add more loops but I was only able to work on the game for about 20 hours total so I didn’t have too much time. Glad you found it fun though!

Interesting game, I got it into a softlock some how everything was frozen except for buttons.

Developer

huh, I’ve never encountered that when I was testing the game, I’ll try to reproduce it post jam though. Thanks!

This is bound to rival roller coaster tycoon

it's a fun little game really nothing much to complain about

Developer(+1)

I’m about to put roller coaster tycoon out of business

A nice and simple simulator/level editor. I think my biggest grudge with this entry is the lack of a goal for the players. Yeah, you can try to go for super high numbers, but they don't do anything, and as far as I know, you can't see your previous attempts either. I could see this being a minigame in a sort of theme park builder.  Or maybe you could make it into a puzzle game like Poly Bridge.
Other than that, the graphics could use a little boost, but the audio was fairly nice (even if simple). I liked the animations that the loops had when you placed them, promising concept, but needs a bit more time.

Keep it going!
7/10

Thanks for all the feedback! I for sure need to add upgrades you can get with the points, and I’ll try to update the graphics a bit (I usually go with the pixelated style for jams to hide my bad art skills). The idea of being able to save precious coasters or different levels with goals is great though, thanks!

adorable game! loved the way you incorporated the theme, very original!! idk if this was in the tutorial, but I was kinda confused on how to pan over so I could build a really long coaster

Developer

Thanks for your comment! I forgot to finish the tutorial so I just added the camera controls in the description in a sort of unclear way, I’ll make sure to update that post jam!

What a great idea! This was surprisingly cool....and the music was awesome!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the music!

Very interesting, it feels nice to have room for creativity and experimentation :) The visual style is very on point,  as well the animation and sound effects. I just wish I had more space to make longer roller coasters. <3

Developer(+1)

You’re able to move the camera with WASD to make larger coasters, I probably should have made that clearer in the tutorial. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Quite fun to build roller coaster, good job! Agree with other comments to have a more clear goal.

Developer

Thanks!

Fun! The responsiveness of everything, the drawing animations, the sounds all work together to make something so lo-fi really pleasing. Nice work! Like another commenter, I'd love to have a goal or some incentive to build certain kinds of coasters to keep me playing more than a few minutes.

Developer

Thanks! I’ll probably update it post-jam so that your points can be used to unlock new loops, but it’s nice you liked the vibe!

The building animations and sounds made it satisfying. I liked watching the loops form and the points add up as the coaster went through the loops.

Developer

Thanks for your comments! I’m glad you found the game satisfying!

But what if I need MOOOOOOORRRE LOOPS ????
Better than port aventura

Developer

yeah port aventura has nothing on me

Good job, Hobbes. I ejoyed building a couple of roller coasters. The mechanics work well and I had fun seeing how dizzy the rides made my passangers. I didn't really know what the aim of the  game is though.

Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! I for sure should have tried to set a clearer goal than just “getting more points”. Glad you enjoyed it!
