How does your game fit the theme?
You craft civilization from trees and fire to AI and collapse. Progress feels linear, but history keeps repeating. This is not your first time—nor your last.

this was a fascinating experience. you did an effective job at using a simple system to express a broad range of concepts! I felt I was only scratching the surface of it still, I got as far as when I was creating trains. the mystery of the game was appealing to me, but ultimately felt a bit too opaque to develop a true intimacy with it. but nonetheless, it was a very interesting experience that I found affecting!

I like the idea of this representing our existance, and the cycle of civilisation representing a loop. After a certain point, I just couldnt figure out what to combine, even though i noted down all of the possible combinations. Either way, its a well made game 🍞!

It seems to me like you combined Doodle God with the Candy-Crush-like grid movement mechanic. This could have been explained to the player. Also, you could have added a recipe book for discovered recipes. All in all, the idea has potential, but it is a little too complex for a game jam.

That’s a fantastic idea! We’ll consider building a ‘recipe book’ feature down the line and really appreciate it.

The concept seems good but, to be honest, I have no idea what's going on.

Thanks for the valuable feedback! We did want players to enjoy the fun of discovering things on their own through the loops, but your comments reminded us that the initial guidance could indeed be better. We'll be optimizing this in future updates to make goals clearer while still preserving the sense of exploration.
