Yooo I can't believe I missed out on rating this. Would have been a 5 across the board for me. My favorite game from this jam.
Obviously the visuals and audio are gorgeous, but I can't get over how creative this game let's the player be when you get to the more complex levels.
Honestly incredible to me that this was made in 96 hours!
Enjoyed it a lot and played until I cleared all levels on 3 stars. :) I even managed to clear the last level in 29 rails (rather than the 34 you need for 3 stars) which felt great.
Would love to see this made into a full Steam game. :D
Suggestion for quicker controls if this was made into a full game:
- Hotkeys for different materials (1, 2, 3, etc., like in Poly Bridge)
- Click + drag to set a direction as you're placing a directional rail.
We're glad you enjoyed the game so much and we are considering expanding it greatly. I also agree the controls could use a rework for a proper release and I would definitely try to keep the ability of the player to creatively approach the puzzles :)
Your Average rank is #162 in GMTK 2025! Congrats!

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
Thank you we appreciate that and we are very happy with our position!
Pixel Oveload always performs high up there never shocked!
Really cute game! Loved the art style, it was a charming game, really polished
Really love the art style, the puzzles are fun and engaging!
Definitely high marks by every metric, but the visuals are the real standouts here. This one's got some serious moxie, and it feels quite complete. Very good!
Art style and music are amazing! Very polished!
Building this in 4 days is insane work! Very polished little gem.
Very fun. My only suggestion is to make it so that you can change your track type (straight, curve, dynomatie) with scroll wheel and delete with middle mouse button. Then you can have everything controlled by mouse if you want it.
Also I think there's a bug (?) where you can delete catsuses and trees with the delete track button. Only rocks you cannot delete.
I did think the rail switching controls were a bit difficult but we wanted to have zoom as well and yes we do have a game breaking bug that allows you to remove trees 😅
Tbh I don't think zooming is necessary since most levels can fit on one screen... Good luck in the tree bug tho lol!
Relaxing and enjoyable!
Fantastic art, pleasant audio. Special thanks to the Cactus Conductor!
Certified banger, best game I've played so far
Nice! Classic train game fits the theme well. Nice work on the artstyle!
Great game, I love train puzzle games. The pixel art in this is fantastic. I appreciate that everything in this has an animation in it.
Great concept, visuals and sound design. Really relaxing to play, easy to lose track of time. Definitely something I can see being a full fledged game outside of the gamejam :)
My wife came out while I was playing this game and said "well this quite cute." After watching for a while she then said "you better give this one 5/5. This is the best one I've seen you play yet" lol

Really nice game! The art looks very good and the whole experience is very polished. The audio and music goes nicely with the ambiance as well. The level design is great, I found that those last 2 levels definitely crank up the difficulty which is nice and shows this could possibly be extended into a full game. Excellent job!
Simple concept, but really good puzzle! I am on level 9, I need to come back later and finish them all. Really great execution, art, tutorial, difficulty ramp, etc. One of my favs so far.
The art on this is GORGEOUS. A fun, cute game - Would love to see click-and-drag for fast rail placement on straightaways but this is SO solid. I crave a sandbox mode that just lets you send trains off on little logistics adventures.
Sandbox was something we are considered for a slightly expanded post-jam version so keep an eye on Spicy Chicken’s page
