Use of the limitation
We embraced the limitation by adding pocket-sized objects and making them a core part of the gameplay. We also used the miner character and ambient to tie in with the "Underground" theme.

You nailed it! The game play was simple and intuitive. I liked the effects from when you hit the birds. it matched the theme and limitation well. Im pretty bad at it but I made it all the way through

Nice, that was challenging but fun to beat! Managed to do it on my third try. The physics are quite impressive, well done on that. Music was epic too!

Great concept and AMAZING art! However, I find it a bit too difficult. Even with the same power, sometimes you only hop a little, while other times you get launched very far. Still, it was fun!

Concept is great along with pocket theme, I really like such outrageous design, art is just FIRE, splendid job

Loved it, but i feel like the game forces you to be too safe

hi, the programmer here! i actually agree. we were considering adding an "against-something" trial, something like a timer or someone or something that chase you.

instead of that we decided to go on with just movement and precise platforming since the feeling of instability and randomness of thepocket, along with the understanding of the pogo system was our main focus.

we had plenty ideas of mechanics and game modes like a bonus level with 20 objects, an "endurance" game mode where you had to keep the objects in the pockets while hundreds of birds attack you, different shapes and sizes of pockets and objects, sacrificing some objects in the pocket to launch them and interacting with other systems, an actual pogo mining mechanic, a extraction game mode...

thanks for the comment!

This is an inherently innovative idea for a game and pairs well as a rage-based physics game not too unlike titles such as Getting Over It. Like every game of its kind, mastering the fidgety physics and trying not to lose it all is so, so addictive! The pogo mechanic works well and is sufficiently useful but unpredictable, with the physics tested at every turn by craggy steps and drops. I love though that the core mechanic isn't tipping over or anything, but the jangly keys in your superimposed pocket. Nicely adds an extra layer of paying attention to what's going on. I really appreciate the checkpoints here...

For constructive feedback - not much! This is wonderfully polished and animated, and the janky physics is the point - right down to the fun multi-layered miner's sprite. I guess one thing that did take getting some use to is that the bandwidth for what lies between a decent bunny-hop and not springing wildly and losing everything is narrower than I thought, which made it a little easier to gauge. But still not too easy or hard. Wish I had more things to put in my pocket as the game progressed!

Great work! I had a lot of fun playing this.

Hey! Petupegatinas here — thanks so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback! 🙌
Our original idea was to have different pocket types with unique items in each level, acording the terrain and its limitations.
We really gave it all during these three days, and honestly, we’re still itching to add more of those ideas. So glad you enjoyed it! 💛

Actually a really fun game, although the lovely birds and some rocks are the bane of my existence  :^[
The main character design is also quite charming, well done

Oh very good idea! That’s a bit too difficult for me though :D I was close to finish the second level, but woosh those birds stressed me out!

Very cool use of the limitation, I loved it. Well done <3
