Very funny, and looks beautiful.
I would say I find it hard to time the initial moves. I suspect you're recording from the moment the screen changes ? I think it might be nicer to record from the first input pressed. I think it would make the attempts less hit and miss.

Actually really cute game, although the characters feel strangely familiar, I wonder where??? Anyways the only issue I had was it was sometimes hard to tell what you had to jump over in the mountains. I thought the mechanics of you not knowing what was ahead and having to guess led to hilarious moments. The backgrounds were also really nicely made, like thats seriously some gorgeous pixel art. Great work
this was so fun to play!! (even though most of the time i just jumped around and prayed that gilbo's timing was good) i experienced a glitch in the mountains where gilbo wasn't following dangalf around so wasn't sure how to pass that level but otherwise loved it!
loop mechanic was difficult to time with the moving enemies. music is great though. nice work!
Nice art, and the story is pretty funny.
I thought there must be someone who has done a game about the lord of the rings (or loops) and then I found this one! I really like the idea, art and sound, but I couldn't do the foggy mountains because Gilgo didn't follow Gandalf's footprints in the snow. Also the game didn't adapt to my retina display and I had to change the browser scale to 50% and zoom in.

Loved the final boss fight
Perfect game. We couldn't finish mountains because Gilgo isnt as fit as Dangolf and gets stuck on a highest mountain of them all. Shame he has to die in mountains but Dangolf surely will carry the loop.
Gilbo skipped leg day, Dangolf did not. The loop must go on.
