How does your game fit the theme?
Our little house cat, Gunther, always has to return to the same tile he started the lap from in order to complete the level, making the whole thing one big, and oftentimes confusing loop. Also, there's loop-ception with small loops being part of the big loop.

This is brilliant. Great idea, great visuals, fun to play. Even details like a smooth and polished UI and the transitions between levels. One of my favs Ive played so far! Great stuff!
that's so nice to hear! thank you so much :)
really neat idea, i've never played a game that used such a control scheme! beautiful puzzles and art too, well done!
Very silky game page, test reaction speed, the game level design is ingenious.Excellent game, makes my fingers dance on the keyboard.
This is such a clever innovation of the building/moving rails genre of games! Gameplay is pretty addictive, challenging but not in a way that's stressful, and the art is super cute!
I wouldn't be surprised if this were to be one of this year's winners!
The visuals are really cool. And also the game mechanic really interesting. Especially teleporting the character with the platform is really nice too
I like this game. I like how pressing keys reshapes the paths – it feels clever and fresh. I especially like that little cat; its charm absolutely hooked me. A wonderful Game Jam game!
Love this! Has been the game I've played longest so far, and it only ended because I pressed the WINDOWS key by accident while contorting my hand across the keyboard and tabbing out, then accidentally clicking on another game and aaargh! Disaster! I would have had to start again! So maybe level select would have been nice so I could continue. Lots of fun, good job!
hey! glad to hear you liked our game so much!! in the options menu there is the option to continue to the next level by pressing N so you don't have to go through all of them again :) but yes, level select is planned!
OOPS yup it was right there in the menu. Got to continue the fun! Thanks
This is how I discovered my keyboard is a little broken. Cool concept, I liked playing a piano to move the cat around. Nice depth of mechanics and quite a lot of levels! I would have preferred some quick restarts in a few cases, but otherwise entirely solid.
I loved it so much! I felt like a pianist in some levels ahaha
Damn, the game design was so good! I genuinely loved playing the game and didn't want to stop. The art and animations were also super cute! 10/10!
That was a ton of fun, I was exhausted after all the hand gymnastics I had to do! Really a great game.
Loved the game! Really enjoyed the controls and level design!
Good implementation on all the visual flair. Nice level design too, got suprisingly complex
Super fun concept!! When I found myself useing both hand on the keyboard in wird positions to make the level work it felt like a hand-twiser!! Awesome work!
The control scheme is so simple and yet so genius. Although it felt strange at first, as soon as it clicked I fell in love with the way it engaged my hands and brain while steering clear of high APM gameplay. There's a hard to describe "flow" to the game's puzzles that just feels good when you get the timing right. I'm kind of in awe that you managed to squeeze so many compelling levels out of such a simple idea.
The sound design and visuals are a perfect match for the gameplay, and the design for Gunter and his robot are super cute too.
I had a few instances where the game's perspective made it hard to see the height of blocks clearly, which was a struggle once I got to the roadwork level. Despite this, I did manage to progress after some trial and error, and I felt rewarded for learning the level and sticking it out.
FISHious Cycle is an absolute gem and I'm glad to hear you're considering more levels in the future.
Thanks for dev-ing!
this comment is so sweet thank you so much!! im really happy you enjoyed our game (together with the rest of the team ofc) :-)
可爱的咪咪! 小蟑螂申请和咪咪做朋友!
Great game! Graphics and sound are awesome, the story is cute and the game works well, the cat interacts with the moving parts as you'd expect, which I feel is probably harder to pull off than it seems. Playing the game by holding down and releasing different keys is new and fun, trying to get my brain to figure out which key I need to release and when is quite the head scratcher.
Really enjoyed this game, well done!
thank you! the inputs and interactions were definitely a lot of trial and error + some happy accidents turned into mechanics ;) glad you liked it!!
Absolutely winner of a game. Very solid, the artwork and gameplay feel very high-quality, Gunter's design is just precious. The concept is truly smart! One of my favorite entries so far (and I have played/rated quite a bit too).
This makes us sooo happy to hear! Thank you for playing and glad you enjoyed it :)
A wonderful experience, though I didn't really feel that looping was an integral part of the game. Accessibility-wise (both in terms of keyboard hardware and just in general), maybe an option for controls to be toggle-based instead of hold-based could help. Managed to finish every level except the final one, due to my keyboard not supporting the big hold at the end.
Really fun! good level of difficulty. Cat was adorable
Happy to hear that and thanks for playing :)
