this felt good even while chasing the boulder after droping it

Really cool idea, had me hooked in !

Every game about Sisyphus is literally a game about us during any game jam

Very simple mechanics but it pulled me in. Once I got to the second day I couldn’t bear to go on.. What a terrible fate to do that for eternity

A simple approach to a classic story! Once I started being met with bumps and ledges I had a good time trying to overcome them, however that took what felt like a few minutes of just holding D to get to.

Now I understand why Dante put this as a hellish punishment. I wasn't seeing the end and I thought that I would push that rock forever.

Pushing the boulder up the hill was executed really well.

idk what's wrong with me, I can't stop playing Sisyphus games. Actually, I like this one the best so far because rolling the boulder is a matter of skill, and it feels like your fault when it starts rolling back down, but the physics system makes it chaotic so the boulder can go over your head, at which point you're scrambling back to retrieve the rock in a Getting Over It kind of way. Also, another subtle design bit that I like is that the boulder's surface isn't uniformly round, which makes it a constantly dynamic challenge as you're rolling it uphill.

EDIT: Yee

Great idea! ;)

Also - really cool rotation physics of the stone - liked how with minimal effort you can have quite good interaction!

Great concept! Was simple but well executed!

So the trick is to bounce the boulder around like an indestructible all-powerful circus seal. I think that's how it goes in the Greek tragedy too.

Funny game, do wish you could see your progress up the mountain better, like how Getting Over It visualizes this with its background themes and random objects. Though I suppose it's part of the Sisyphus experience to have no clue how far along you are.

I hate this game for putting the behind me when i jumped. (I know its a skill issue, im crying).

The game surprised me in many ways. at first, I didn't see any challenges. until I jumped :))

a truly frustrating yet enjoyable experience. good job :)

Also I would appreciate any feedback on my game too: "The Seal"

Clever little concept. It's cool how just the different angles on the boulder and steepness of the hill can change the complexity of the game. infuriating in all the best ways. It's sooo frustrating when the boulder goes past you and you need to chase it back down the hill

I love the concept bud! but i wish there were more animations and probably did something with the boulder like every time you jump and crash the boulder it breaks something like that!. other than that Goated Thumbnail Love it!

I hopped over the boulder
